Last time I came I hear I got the fish and chips. I was so sick afterwards. On my second attempt I ordered the house special which was the burger. When it came out it was just a standard Bubba burger like the cases you would get from Walmart. Not only was it very dry, but the bacon it was topped with tasted like straight fish. To Finish it off the burger was $20. It was supposed to be the house special, but somehow was more expensive than anything else they had on the menu and to mention again it was a standard frozen patty. I will not be returning to the Marion hose bar as their food is subpar And leaves my stomach bubbling . Very disappointed once again. This place is Gross!

4 hikers were pleased with our late March lunch experience. Good portions of food, cold draft beer, and a friendly server. Just what we were looking for!Parking: As far as we could tell, only place to park was municipal parking lot, down by Lehigh River, at least a quarter mile away. Being hikers, it didn't matter much to us, just beware if close parking is important to you.

The food and drinks are okay. Service was slightly slow but otherwise fine. Cocktails were very tasty and large, although a bit pricy. It was pretty cold outside so definitely a shame the outside fire pits weren't lit. Pretzels were quite nice!

Busy little place, we beat the rush and were seated quickly. Not a lot of indoor seating. Decent craft beer list. Reasonably priced foods.

My family and I always enjoy this place every time we are in Jim Thorpe. It's got a neat atmosphere sitting in an old fire house. Food and drinks are top notch and even though they were busy last time we were there, the manager took care of us! Great place and so different than other places! A nice change up!

I'll start with the Pros which there are few. There is a pretty solid beer and soda offering here and the ambience is quite nice with a cozy and welcoming vibe, that's where the good stuff pretty much ends. The food was pretty terrible unfortunately. I got the fries to start and the pretzel both of which were bland and lacking in any amount of flavor even with salt and some sort of shredded cheese on the pretzel it was flavorless and the cheese and mustard dips did little to help and it was more like pretzel pieces not what you'd think. The fries also were bland and the homemade ketchup didn't help with a weird smoky flavor. Entrees except for the pastrami Ruben were terrible burger was bland and not of any decent quality. The bacon chicken ranch sandwich was a big disappointment as it was literally a microwaved and frozen chicken patty with no flavor or good texture and was watery when you bite into it! There was a lack of toppings and ranch sauce was scarce and the only thing that helped was the bacon. Overall wouldn't not recommend for the food maybe a quick drink and that's it, very disappointing!
