I ordered cookies for my niece's birthday party. They didn't taste too bad, but were decorated by someone very inexperienced. I wasn't happy with how they looked at all.A co worker brought in a variety of gobs for all of us to try, and they were horrible. The cake was so dry and the icing was gritty and way too sweet. Mine went in the trash. I won't go back.

It's very difficult to choose just one, so don't. choose a few to go home with you. Gobs come in familiar flavors like chocolate or peanut butter too unique flavors like cotton candy. You will be the hit of the office if you bring in treats from here

In my experience, the service at this business is amateurish and unprofessional. Don't be deceived by the "Simply the Best" designation---that the telephone number listed on their website is disconnected should be a warning. The manager assured me Custom Cookies and Cakes could ship one dozen gobs to a relative of mine in the Chicago area, at a charge of $44.00. I agreed and paid for the order with my Mastercard. The container that arrived at my relative's address was a corregated box similar to those used for supermarket produce, barely closed and taped together, with hand-lettered shipping labels Scotch-taped to the outside of the box (see photo). Inside the container, the dozen gobs were packed into two plastic containers and placed inside the box with no insulation or packing--they were able to shift and shake inside the shipping container all the way to Illinois. Needless to say, I won't be patronizing Custom Cakes again.

These donuts are so GOOD! Very fresh and so tasty! One of the few homemade places left to get great donuts!!! No indigestion like a certain chain store.Parking: Try them for yourself!

Cute place and friendly service, but wasn't a fan of cannoli or cream filled donut (forget the name). Donut just didn't taste fresh, and cannoli hardly had any filling, the middle had no filling it was only on the ends. Disappointed but didn't spend much and was happy to get to support a (new to me) small business. Maybe I'll go back and like something else.

Ordered birthday cake...German chocolate...got a pre-made cake with unmixed marshmallow and some chocolate buttercream slathered on cake. Just a slight garnishment of actual coconut pecan icing placed on top layer of cake with the horrible other icing under it. The writing on top was barely legible as to what it said. All in all cake ended up looking like a giant pile of .... Just change name of store to "whatever cake we already have made, that's what you get"... Nearly all details asked for were ommited! Not worth the cost or time wasted getting this cake.

They made my wedding cake and cookies, and we got the DJ through them too. The cake looked terrible. And the cookies were so dry and really did not taste good. The DJ doesn't let you pick the order of events either which was disappointing. Overall, not a good experience.

We stopped in for birthday doughnuts and we glad to find customized flavors in doughnuts. A dozen doughnuts runs about $12.00. We purchased a dz and were sad to find that they were very stale. It was 12:30 in the afternoon but the were so stale that they would dryly crack and fall apart. We were very satisfied that when we called to let them know that they would replace or refund our money. We will give them a try another time.
