Life's a Treat made cookies and a half a sheet cake for a retirement luncheon at our office today. The cookies and cake were all beautifully made and were absolutely delicious, according to everyone who ate any of them. We thank you so very much for your kindness and beautiful work.

I put my order in, in advance. they are closed basically all week and make it hard for communication. we were messaging back and forth about pick up. I just had a baby and may have needed to change my days b.c he is in the nicu and needed to change my days for pickup because we were having my daughters party that weekend hours away. I said possibly Saturday to have someone pick it up I never said definitely. the lady changed my pickup day to then and then said they couldn't do it. 2 days before my daughters party. if she would have read her messages that were sent days in advance she would had read that I was still doing thr original pick up day. now I have no one to make a cake for the party that i have all these people coming to and have to stress about a dam cake while stressing about my newborn in the hospital all because she took it upon herself to change the date instead of verifying and checking back cause like I said I said possibly I have to see if my sister in law can get it. there was no remorse or anything. they seriously need to work on their communication skills. to say I'm extremely upset is an understatement someone recommended this place to me and I'll never tempt to even go here again or try their stuff. I put in for a cake and cookie order as well. there's no menu on here and was asked what flavors and sizes and counts I wanted but given no information either. there's a lot they need to work on. I don't ever write reviews or leave a bad one if I do. but I am extremely upset and have enough stress and now this because they don't know how to read or respond.

I chose this place to order a cake for my parent's 40th anniversary after seeing lots of rave reviews and getting recommended. I should have moved on. There was a misunderstanding on the pick up time for this cake, and it almost seemed like it was just put together minutes before pick up. Shortly after it was picked up, the top layer slid. The cake was beautiful before it was transported, and it was even held carefully. So this just tells me this cake was forgotten about and done at the last second. I was embarrassed to have this for my parents. But I paid $28 for this cake, and I wasn't wasting it. The only saving grace for this cake was that it was very good tasting. I won't be ordering from here again. Lesson learned.
