We like to go there for a bite and a brew and to talk....remember how to do that ?? No loud noise..maybe a ball game going on...but I can hear what my wife is saying..actually a rather unique concept ....

Very convenient choice as it is located adjacent to the hotel I was staying at. Absolutely no complaints. I ordered the Greek chicken wrap, French fries and jalapeño poppers. The house Cabernet was very good, food was fresh and got great service. I wouldn't hesitate coming back if I were in the area.

Went here with some friends to have a few drinks. We stayed next door at the Holiday Inn. Place was full but not packed. The two bartenders handled the crowd well. It was a little slow at times but with the amount of people that was to be expected. Think local bar. Nothing fancy. We didn't eat just had drinks. Friendly people.
I had two dinners here while my wife was attending functions related to her 50th high school reunion. Although this is essentially a bar, they have a very good menu with many diverse choices. The first night I had their fish and chips, which was very good and they allowed me to substitute a baked potato for the french fries. There was more food than I could eat. The second night, I had their meatloaf which was also very good. The prices of everything on the menu, including their drinks, were much lower than I have seen elsewhere. I'm not sure how they do this, but I guess it is Johnstown. The staff and customers in the bar were all very friendly. They made me feel like I was a local, and I felt very comfortable and genuinely welcomed. I highly recommend this place.

My husband wanted to throw me a surprise birthday party and decided on The Alibi. When he was there, he asked if we could put our Switch on the big screen TV where we had the party. He was originally told it was okay but the manager decided to say that it isn't a Chuck-E-Cheese and he wasn't allowed. So, we didn't. The whole entire time we were there, it seemed like the manager was glaring at us. He could have been looking at the TV with sports on, but, regardless, it really felt like he didn't want us there. The food was good and the waitstaff was lovely, we just probably won't be back because of the manager.

Food good. Chill type dive bar. Had a good evening there. Owner needs to stop barking orders at his bartender when he's there. She was doing just fine without him adding stress to a bartender w a full bar. He should really let her do her job. Besides him, it was nice

Terrible service. Waited for 20 minutes to even get checked on. Took forever for our check and the pizza was awful.

This place definitely isn't going to make my list of Top Places to Eat in Johnstown, but we will call it for what it is... decent. The interior of this place is awfully bland, and in desperate need of some updating. The maroon colors walls do absolutely nothing for the interior. Upon seating ourselves, my fiend and I were quickly handed menus. The menus is ... well... very typical bar type food. Burgers, sandwiches, salads and some dinner items. Nothing on the menu really caught my eye, so I settled on the chicken parm sandwhich and fries. My friend ordered a cup of chicken and dumpling soup, pastrami on rye and fries. His soup made its way to our table in about 5 minutes of ordering. He noted the flavor was good, but it was about 90% all broth. Our food shortly followed. I can tell you the appearance of my food was less than inviting. The tiny pile of soggy looking steak fries was disappointing and made me forget I was hungry. The chicken parm sandwich looked good. Upon the first couple bites, the fries were as sad tasting as they appeared, unfortunately. The chicken parm wasn't bad but it was very clearly frozen. Nothing on my plate was fresh. Overall, service was good. Food was mediocre at best. Not sure if I'll return.
