I travel a ton for work to cities all across the US and this by far is some of the best Indian food I've ever had in my life right here in Johnstown. Really, really good! 5 stars!

This guy serves up fresh and delicious Indian cuisine, made to order, staffing is short but SO worth the wait.

We've been visiting the area. We live in Manhattan. We've had good Indian, nothing we've had in the past has been as favorable as this West End Curry House. We keep going back ordering again and again. We expected to eventually get tired of it, or at least get to the point where we felt like we had our fill. That hasn't happen. It is simply the best food. We are sad to leave it. We will bring as much as we can with us back to the city. We will freeze it, and when we run out, we will make the decision if it's reasonable to drive 6 hours just to have one of the best tasting foods you can get in this world.

They can't keep hrs properly an then blame it on customers or workers not showing up post negative reviews on Facebook someone suggest something they laugh at them they raised their menu 3 times in 11 months the owner talks trash on the town an town events says they're trash an they can do better events but never held an event claims to be the best Facebook entertainment on Facebook. He is very full of himself but closes down all the time.food is good prices is not so good

Great Indian food right here in Johnstown! So happy we found this - loved the samosas- just the right spicy! Chicken tika was sooo good! Can’t wait to try more!

I’m kind of upset that I just visited today for the first time. The service was amazing and the food was perfect.

Absolutely delicious! I got the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and vegetable samosa. I was surprised to discover this restaurant in Johnstown. Exactly what I would expect when I crave a chicken tikka masala. A nice amount of heat but would not call it overly spicy or hot. Enough for two small portions for me. Good price. The sauce and chicken were delicious. The rice light, fluffy, and fragrant. Samosa was a little spicy but not more heat than I can handle, delicious flavorful filling, and a flaky crust. I will definitely be back! So happy to have found this place. Thank you!

Food was really good, I loved the flavors. I think they should give the naan with the meal instead of having to pay $3 for grocery store bought flat bread. The cook also did not wear gloves & touched his phone multiple times while cooking. They did not give me a fork , spoon or any napkins. They have a few little things to work on. Other than that my children & I did enjoy the food.

The takeout from here isn't too bad, although $3 for one piece of Garlic Naan is pretty ridiculous. But the "All You Can Eat Sunday Buffet" was a bad joke - an expensive bad joke. It was supposed to be from 11AM - 3PM. We got there at 1:45, so we had 75 minutes to eat. But there wasn't much to eat! The Byriani was pretty good, but the Curry Shrimp pan on the buffet was totally empty, and the Chicken Tikka Masala pan just had sauce in it, no chicken. So I had some Byriani, and some basmati rice with some of the Tikka Masala sauce, and waited for them to bring some food out. After about a 20 minute wait, they finally brought out some Chicken Tikka Masala, but still no Curry Shrimp. The chicken was pretty tough. Finally, after an hour, they set out a pan where the Shrimp Curry was. I rushed over, paper plate and plastic fork in hand, only to find out that the "Shrimp" was now crossed out, and "Egg" written in. They had put out a pan of some Curry gravy, and threw a couple chopped up hard boiled eggs in it! You've got to be kidding me! Some of the other bad jokes from this buffet show: the "included beverage" was a gravity-fed jug of pink lemonade, which was pretty much empty. I had to tilt it to manage getting a watered-down Dixie Cup of lemonade. The dessert? Gulab Jamun? Rice pudding? No. Banana pudding with vanilla wafers in it. And of the many Indian buffets I've been to over the years, this is the first one I've ever seen without any Naan on it. Actually, I'm not even sure they have a tandoori oven here. It's a half hour ride here from my house, and think the next time I feel like getting Indian food, I'll drive an extra half hour and go to State College or Indiana.

Ordered take out and was very good. Owner & staff were friendly. Prices are fair for the amount of food received. Food was ready quickly. Got Tikki Masala and curry chicken, both very flavorful. We’ll definitely order from here again.
