Party of 9, food was very good. However our sourpuss waitress was terrible. Had to ask for everything, everything. Starting with bread- asked for it after seated for 10 minutes, then only brought one and placed it at one end of the long table, asked for a second bread. Had to ask for refills on drinks many times by all of us. Never offered to refill our empty glasses. Waited 5 minutes to get sprinkle cheese on my veal. Terrible. again did not offer to - had to ask. Finally packing up our left overs- had to ask for bags to carry out. Ask. Ask. Ask. Terrible for a $337 meal. One final thing- never cleared the table from app dishes and old glasses.Won't be back. Grumpy lousy waitress. ugh.

This was our first time at LA Verona. The weather was delightful, so we ate outside. The food was traditional Italian and excellent. Both of us felt that it was really good. We really enjoyed our desert as well. We had been to Kennett Square before, but not for a number of years. We were so glad we got to eat here.

We had dinner tonight, trying the capellini with clams and shrimp plus sautéd calamari with white beans in a Fra Diabolo sauce. Perfect for a rainy Tuesday night in Kennett. We capped off the night with a Barbara Cheesecake Special and our favorite beverages. Thanks Dina for the beverages and service.

My first impression on walking in was that it smelled like a dive bar on Sunday morning. The place smelled like a sour mop. Turned me off almost immediately. And unfortunately the smell stayed for our entire stay. We were a party of 10, the service was good. Appetizers a dinners came out about how I expected. They were also very willing to customize the dinners to the desires of our party. The food was average at best, our party had several appetizers including stuffed zucchini blossoms, fried cheese, and bruschetta. All looked good and everyone enjoyed them. The dinners were meh... I had the lasagne and the meat had a burnt taste and the serving size was small for the price. Our party also had the chicken Parm and that was huge. Others in our party also had ravioli and the fish and several other entrees. Everyone seemed to think there meals were ok. Did I have a bad experience? No, but I wouldn't call it a good experience either. Expensive for the quality and if I am going to pay that much I would prefer not to have to smell a sour mop while eating. This was my first time here and will try it at least one more time before totally writing it off.

I had dinner for the second time and it was just as good as the first time. Emma was our waitress and she was so sweet and attentive. Three of us split the calamari appetizer, had drinks, dinners and desserts. All of us were happy with our choices.

The most delicious Italian food in the area. I loved mushroom gratin a lot! Escargot was delicious, sandwiches were great! And cappuccino is to die for. Definitely recommend it! The service was very welcoming!

Great service. Food was good, but not outstanding, and a bit overpriced. This was my first time dining in Kennett Square, so maybe the pricing was on par with other restaurants in the area.

One of the best Italian restaurants in the area in my opinion. Authentic, always good service and delicious food. The gnocchi here is excellent. Fresh bread with olive oil is always provided as well. The cab we had was delicious and is one of my new favorites, posted a photo. Definitely come here if you haven't yet! Great date spot also

La Verona is a great Italian restaurant located in downtown Kennett Square. Came here for dinner on a whim on a Saturday night. I've always driven by the restaurant and am happy I was able to stop by. Food was great, I ordered an orange duck and it was cooked perfectly with a nice light sauce. Also had calamari for an appetizer, which was fresh and served with marinara. Ordered a dirty martini, which was mixed well. Service was good and attentive, my only complaint was it felt a little impersonal from our waiter. I understand he was busy but he felt very rushed and didn't take time to engage much with us. Overall a great experience and I plan to stop by again in the future!
