Being served hot tea in a flimsy disposable cup was novel but, honestly, the tea was fine. The food came on styrofoam and that was fine, too. No complaints about the service, and I liked the booth and the room. The actual food, though, was the problem. The rice had an unsettling crunchy texture in many bites, the meat was gristly and had a dodgy taste, and some of the vegetables were cold, as if they'd been frozen and never had a chance to fully thaw. This restaurant did not impress, in any way. The food was mediocre, at best. I tried the Moo Goo Gai Pan. They filled more than half the plate with the fried rice that accompanies the combo. I wonder if this was too soak up some of the grease? The egg roll was also very greasy.The server seemed very unsure. We had never been there before but he was the one that seemed to need help.
