Manning’s is an NEPA classic. Endless rows of homemade ice cream, straight from a dairy farm not but a few miles north. The amazing array of flavors is sure to delight anyone’s palate. The waffle cone is a particular treat.Another NEPA icon that should not be missed. Don’t be scared off by long lines in the summer, they move very quickly.A year long operation but gets into full swing in the hot months.Kid-friendliness: Ice cream and kids go hand-in-hand so there will be plenty to contend with on top of handling your own.Wheelchair accessibility: Never a problem

A real hidden gem! Phoebe helped me with my order with clear expertise. She was extremely kind and helpful. I have never met anyone nicer, prettier, more amazing, and more miraculous than Phoebe. She was friendly and very funny. And the ice cream was good too.

Manning’s Farmhouse Ice Cream Shoppe Wyoming Avenue in Kingston, PA, is a no frills establishment. The utilitarian atmosphere, however, is more than compensated by delicious homemade ice cream and very friendly service. When a lot of the local ice cream stands shut down after Labor Day, Manning’s is there to feed the denial that summer in NOT almost over. In fact, the shop is open all year to satisfy your ice cream fix.We arrived at approximately 7:30 p.m. on a Friday evening and were greeted by two young ladies behind the counter who were very personable. It took a few minutes to go over the menu, which featured over 30 different flavors of ice cream and five frozen yogurts. We settled on a large bowl of apple crisp and a medium chocolate peanut butter on a waffle cone, before settling ourselves at one of two indoor tables.The ice cream was very creamy and flavorful. The apple crisp came with tiny chunks of apple with what appeared to be crushed graham crackers. The chocolate peanut butter was well-balanced.In addition to individual servings, one can also purchase one-half gallons containers of select flavors, ice cream cakes, and milkshakes.Manning’s Farmhouse Ice Cream Shoppe is a must if one is an ice cream fan. Located next to Lino’s Pizza and Restaurant, it would be a perfect place to stop by for a decadent dessert.

This place is bomb! If you're in the mood for hard ice cream go here. They have so many good, unique flavors and all the ones I've tried so far have been 10/10. The prices are very comparable to all other places in the area but at this place you're getting farm fresh ice cream. Once you try it you won't stop :)
