Finally an egg roll! Haven’t found very good Chinese food out in PA but this place took me back in time. Absolutely nothing fancy but good old school Chinese, half a fried chicken with fries :)

I've lived in Philadelphia for years and like any major city, a whole in the wall Chinese takeout spot is usually a sign for great food. Unfortunately, Best China Wok does not deliver on this. I ordered the General Tso's chicken with white rice. Crab Rangoons, and fried wontons. The General Tso's comprised of dark meat chicken and was primarily fat- making the food inedible. There was also a surprising lack of flavor to the sauce. The entree unfortunately ended up in the trash since that's where it belonged. The fried wontons were over-fried and under-stuffed with wonton. This created a small rose petal-like dagger in your mouth of sharp wonton with no flavor. I sadly cannot recommend any human being eat here.

I used to come here a lot as a teen, 17. Like weekly if not every day and I live nearby. Unfortunately they changed the cook and everything went down hill from there. I gave it another shot a couple of years ago. My rice to go was mushy when I got home. I threw it out and never went again. It's sad that my favorite place, stopped being my favorite place. I hope they bring in a good cook and bring back the authentic flavor in the food.

Bourbon chicken was dry and unappetizing and went right into the trash after I tasted it. Vegetable lo mein didn't have enough vegetables and was mostly noodles. The egg roll was okay. The steamed dumplings were actually really good. Overall, most of the food was not worth what I paid. I don't think I'll be ordering again.

Best China Wok was memorable. Very good food and extremely nice people. Highly recommend this place to everyone. Yes, it could use some remodeling. But if you can overlook all the supply boxes, you're in for a treat!

The food is gross and flavorless. I ordered shrimp lo mein and their chicken noodle soup. The lo mein was dry and I received chicken instead of shrimp. They literally cooked the noodles and chicken for my order together and then put minimal sauces and broth to try to make it seem like it was prepared separately. That's just lazy work.

I ordered hunan chicken and the served general Tao . I ordered extra spicy and it had NO flavor. I will NEVER order from them even tho they are a block away. It was HORRIBLE! and they won’t accept complaints. They are the worst Chinese spot I’ve ever ordered from. NEVER AGAIN then they lie and have someone random responding I couldn’t even file a complaint. They are ghetto and unprofessional. PATHETIC

Ordered via Doordash and I enjoyed the items I got. I liked the chicken with garlic sauce better but the bourbon chicken was good too. Good value!

This place doesn’t have bad Chinese, but not the greatest. I got the General tso combo meal that came with pork fried rice and a veggie egg roll. I also got a side of plain lo mein. The general tso was the best part…it was sweet and soft and the portion size was nice. The fried rice was your run of the mill fried rice, nothing special but nothing notably bad. I will say the lo mein was not great. It tasted like fryer oil, and I ended up tossing it out after 2 bites. When I went to pick up my food, the whole restaurant was smoky and smelled like oil. Maybe something happened before I got there. If I were to order from there again, I would probably just stick to the general tso or maybe one of the other main dishes. I will say though that the man ringing me out was very polite.
