Went there today for my first time and the people working were very nice! Had a large cheeseburger sub with a large fry and large drink and it was awesome! I'm telling yall if ur in the area please check this place out. This spot is amazing!

My family has been going here for a very long time! We had a wonderful time with their family, cheese steaks and ham boats and the French fries are out of this world!! We live in MD and my brother lives in VA and when we travel to PA we always go there with a cooler!!!

Great folks! Make you feel right at home, even on your first visit. Fries came out piping hot and delicious (they fry in peanut oil).? Now if you're a cheesesteak snob and you require a real Italian roll, don't even bother. You'll be disappointed. I was. It basically is an over-sized hot dog bun, as others have mentioned. But, if you have the capacity to appreciate the steak, cheese, sauce, and onions for what they are, you'll enjoy it nonetheless. I did.

10/27/23 How this restaurant clames to have the Best cheese steak in Lancaster is beyond me! They don't know what a good if not great cheese steak is! Captain Gus's Steak Shop is the Worst! cheese steak I have ever eaten! that is if you even what to call it a cheese steak & I don't! First off it was on a big hot dog bun strike 1 The meat is low quality strike 2 And it was flavorless strike 3 I'm Out! & will Never eat here again!
