We have been to Citronnelle twice. Very special little French restaurant. Citronnelle is a gem, we will reserve a table again. The combination of the assorted seafood dish complements each other and tastes very delicious. Usually shellfish tend to leave sand in the dish, but this dish delighted me from beginning to end. The sauce tastes great. We tried different dishes for both dinners, and each one was a pleasant surprise...bring your own favorite wine (not provided by the restaurant) and enjoy the family atmosphere, friendly conversation...it was great! We can't wait for the next time ?

Great service, very attentative.Appetizers and Entrées were good. We had the carpaccio(which could've used some acidity/lemon), cream crab, duck, and fish du jour (our favorite out of what we tried). The only thing that was truly a letdown was the Cappuccino and Souffle. The cappuccino tasted like it came out of a Nespresso machine...for $5 it was disappointing. As for the Souffle, it arrived very deflated and practically hollow. Felt like I was scraping and eating a crepe off a bowl. I was really excited for the soufflé, but it did not come up to par. $32 just for 2 cappuccinos and 2 souffles with my friend, feels like a waste of money.Would recommend the apps/entres, perhaps we had a bad night for desserts, but wouldnt try it again next time.

Citronnelle was a great experience all around. Starting with our ability to be seated by Susan, even though we reached out last minute. Our server Sarah was very well versed in food prep and most attentive as the night went on. Never rushed and never longed for something to arrive. Oh and the Dessert, “The Citronnelle soufflé was of the chart.Hardwick, NJ

This little modern French restaurant, is absolutely beautiful. Came out for a date night, and was thoroughly impressed by not only the appearance, but the friendly and tentative employees. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a cozy place with a dress code.

Delicious, creative food in the French style. Really enjoyed our choices: octopus and crab croquette appetizers, duck confit and fish of the day entrees. Surprisingly hearty portions. Supplemented by courteous, professional service. Good vibe. Menu changes regularly. Really good place, will be back.

Our favorite restaurant in Lancaster hands down ! The food is exquisite-creative, beautiful, and absolutely delicious. The seasonal menu changes along with some of the favorites such as the soufflés make each visit such a treat. The charming setting and the truly warm hospitality are what takes this to the next level. Highly recommend -you will leave smiling and looking forward to your next visit!

Horrible experience, food made in the basement and shipped upstairs. A Friday night visit and no one in the restaurant. Save your money. This place is awlful.

The restaurant is small & quaint. The service is good & food is delicious. The salad needs much more flavor, though. The steak is super salty, but I do enjoy it that way, so I found it to be perfect. The chairs are not super comfortable & putting your purse somewhere is a challenge because the arm rests are oddly shaped. Space is limited & when we visited there was a table next to us blaring about. They were super inconsiderate & it kinda tainted the whole dining experience. We would likely return to give them another chance when visiting the area again. Parking was not an issue on the street. There is a fee to open a bottle of wine & no other alcoholic beverages are served. There's a huge choice of delicious teas. The desserts are phenomenal!

Wonderful dinner at Citronelle in Lancaster. Spring goddess salad, creamy crab croquettes, sable fish with succotash and haricots vert with salsa verde, Moroccan duck and fig bisteeya. Then a to die for lemongrass soufflé for dessert.Back again 2 weeks ago.Starters of crab croquettes; and octopus a la Bosque. Mains of Moroccan Duck and Fig Bisteeya; and Baramundi with summer succotash. Desserts of a lemongrass soufflé; and fig tart with honey gelato.Citronnelle is always wonderful

Definitely understated from the outside (and inside for that matter) but the food was really good - well presented, great taste and excellent value. Also appreciate the BYOB. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area, but it’s small so make a reservation.

Excellent modern French gourmet cuisine with warm/classy ambiance in a small restaurant; Very nice presentation of dishes; reservations recommended and waitlist at times from what I heard; a little challenging to find the first time (location) on map but worth it
