Encks catered a family reunion for around 50 people today, everything from the food to the service was fantastic. Burgers, hot dogs, kraut, Mac n cheese, broc salad….perfect summer cookout food and excellently prepared. Highly recommend!

**THE FOOD ABOVE IS NOT WHAT WAS SERVED AT MY WEEDING** Id like to start off by saying that the staff that worked my wedding were absolutely amazing. A couple months before our wedding me and my husband attended a tasting for what would be served (pictures posted below) everything was very tasty I even made comments on how the mashed potatoes were the best I ever had. Even let us add Mac and cheese to our menu last minute. Sadly at our wedding the chicken cordon blu was like frozen cutlets, the mashed potatoes were instant, and the Mac and cheese tasted like vinegar and was almost curdled. When calling encks about it they said it must have been a "mix up" that they didn't know we wanted fresh... For what we paid a plate it was unacceptable that the food was not fresh. I wish I would have taken a picture of the food from the wedding but I did not let it ruin our day. I am not one to write reviews. Encks did give us some of our money back for the "mix up" I am writing this because I do not want someone else to have the expectations that what they are being served at the tasting will be what is served at your wedding.. and then being told that they weren't aware that's what we wanted to eat at the actual wedding day. Once again the staff that attended and worked the wedding went above and beyond our of their job description. The food was disappointing and for being one of the biggest expenses of the wedding expected SO much more.

Let me start off by saying if I could give this company zero stars I would. I know that's the cliche thing to say when you are upset with a company. Unfortunately my experience was worse than I could imagine, not only was my wedding impacted by the poor food they served but the owner couldn't even contact me back after two emails, multiple phone calls/emails until today. In less than a week will be exactly three months from my wedding. His reason being that he had heard multiple stories of why I was calling and ASSUMED I was just trying to get my money back. So needless to say he wasn't going to contact me back. Our phone call started out as him accusing me of pretty much lying about my wedding horror story just to recive a refund. Stating that his service team had raving reviews and everyone of his servers ate the food and would have told him if it was bad. Then said "someone" directed his team to serve 30 people that they shouldn't have I had them asked who told them to do that because it wasn't me (the bride who had booked them aka the one in charge) then pretty much said well we could have charged you for it but didn't. At first I was not in any way shape or form trying to get my money back I just wanted to let them know that the food that they served mu wedding was one of the reasons my wedding wasn't perfect. I know this mat sound dramatic but Encks Catering is the worst Catering company I've ever delt with and WILL NOT recommend them to anyone ever. Especially if you want to have the the BEST once in a lifetime wedding! After months of trying to contact them and them serving the worst food at my wedding alls the owner could say to me is he is "sincerely sorry, is there anything else I can do for you?" ? What a joke-Your September 10th, 2022 Bride Kelsea.

Trying to keep this on a professional level, something that the owner knew nothing about after screaming at my daughter on the phone. The Wedding was in September. My daughter sent an email to Encks letting them know that their experience with the food was not good. The staff were exceptional which was mentioned in the email. My daughter and her husband and most of the guests were not happy with the quality of the food. It was not hot, tasted like it was reheated for the 4th time and very much lacking flavor. The only thing that my daughter was looking for from Encks was acknowledgment that they were not happy with the food. A simple apology would have been sufficient. She did not receive any type of response 1 or even 2 months later. Finally the owner returned her call. He accused her of falsifying this information and and saying all sorts of things that my daughter was oblivious to. If I owned a business and someone was unhappy I would definitely want to know. I am more than happy to post the email that was sent by my daughter. I cannot even imagine lashing out at a customer like this and getting away with it. Our experience was not pleasant would definitely not recommend this unprofessional owner to anyone..

Had after funeral gathering, simple with sandwiches and 2 sides. Arrived on time, great assortment, food all very good, very professional, reasonably priced. Would definitely use Enck's again.
Great job done catering a lunch event for me. Food was good and service was excellent. I will use their services again.
