Stopped in on a late Saturday afternoon offering. Plenty of parking in back. Inside not crowded at all which was unexpected given the touristy area and right across the street from college. I had the country schnitzel which was all around good. Mashed potatoes obviously homemade and the sauteed spinach was packed full of garlic. All of it was fantastic. Mrs had the mussels appetizer and was enough for a full meal. Creme Brulee and bread pudding were on point. Beers and cocktails were also not disappointing in any way. Certainly not a bland chain brewery with ho-hum foodstuffs. Will return for sure when I'm in the area.

First time here, I was pleasantly surprised. Nice building and atmosphere. Food and beer was truly exceptional. The Pub Burger was a perfect 10. I will be coming back for sure.

This is the first time in 40 years I have ever written a negative review on a restaurant. I have been to this location (Lancaster) several times and have always been happy with the service and the food. Today 4-07-24 was different; service was great, beer was just right but the food was uneatable. I ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich and had to return it after the first bite. The server handled the situation very professionally but the manager  never came to our table to see how he or she could make things right. This is how a great place to have food and drinks starts to go downhill, one customer at a time. I hope this review helps someone.

The food here was very good! My husband got the bangers and mash, which comes in a caramelized onion sauce that was very rich. I had the grilled chicken sandwich on ciabatta. The sandwich came with a shallot and black pepper aioli that was very good. We got some bread for the table, which is a priced menu item, but it was good. They have a very diverse menu, though some items are a bit costly. The restaurant nails the “brew house” ambiance. It’s a good location with easy parking.

Visiting Lancaster, found restaurant on the internet. If I lived in Lancaster, we would eat here on a regular basis. We had a very nice meal (fish tacos). The beer was very good. I wish I could have gotten some to go.Parking: Make sure to park in the white spaces only.

The food was ok, the beer is also good. No conplaints here. The service was very friendly, too. They tried to do their best. However, they served a beer that was never ordered by us. We pointed this out very clearly, said this was a misunderstanding, etc, but no offer to take it away and of course they billed it at the end. We did not feel to discuss but still find this not very professional.

Calamari wasn’t fried properly. My rice was undercooked, and my husbands grits were like water. Our server was friendly.

Good brewpub. Excellent beer list. We always enjoy having a pint at Iron Hill.Food is hit or miss. The happy hour menu was not a good value. It would be better if we stuck with the regular menu.

Our friendly and attentive server, Matthew, was knowledgeable about all the beer offerings, bringing us multiple rounds of the tastings we wanted to try. We had the fried green tomatoes for a starter. Crispy and delicious! My husband enjoyed the juicy Pub Burger, and I had the Grilled Brewben with a bacon sauerkraut made with one of the beers. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had! And the fries are the best! Crispy, seasoned to perfection and plentiful. Have never been disappointed at Iron Hill. Always a fun experience

Upon arrival approximately 12:30pm, the hostess appeared to be disturbed when we requested to have either a window or booth seat. The venue was relatively relaxed and wasn't crowded for a Sunday morning. We were seated in a far corner by the space that appeared to be for functions at a window booth. The server was great. Very friendly and attentive to our needs. Over the course of a half hour, we saw multiple tables get seated and received appetizers and entrees. We didn't complain as it was a laid-back Sunday, and we didn't mind the wait. Our server eventually brought our food out after the section was packed, apologizing for the wait and offering to comp our calamari appetizer. We appreciated the gesture and resumed our meal.Af first glance, the food appeared to be dry and overcooked. Upon my wife turning over her eggs, the bottom was burnt all around. My crab cake was blackened, and the top bun was dry enough that it broke apart into crumbs at a press. The bottom bun was soggy, as though it had been sitting for quite some time.
