If you are able to arrive at this shop and actually get to enjoy their menu, it is an enjoyable experience. They do have good pastries, beverages and food. However, there have been about 4 or 5 different occasions that we have came here and were told either they are not serving their menu, the chef is out for the next few weeks, or some odd occurrence where we were unable to eat. Today we arrived at 9:22 AM after they were open starting at 9 AM and were told, you cannot order anything to eat until 9:30 AM. Why be open if you are not serving your menu??? We have given this place the benefit of the doubt one too many times just to leave and be frustrated.

This was a FANTASTIC experience. If you're a little boujee and like food, you'll love this spot. It's classy and beautiful and yummy! We couldn't stay to eat but we'll be back. The enjoyment of the store details is real. The French Apple Cake was picked by our son, and he wasn't a fan because he's got the palate of a cardboard box (his loss). It has a beautiful taste with rum (?) Or maybe bourbon notes, so that's why he didn't like it. Hubby did NOT mind having to finish that delight off ?? The kiddo loved his macarons despite the new textures (weird, huh), so there's some hope left for him. The sausage gravy meal was delish per hubby.Shout out to Chef Nate, who went above and BEYOND with his food and service. That southwest bowl (sans cheese) was AMAZING, and since I don't get to eat out often due to food restrictions, I thank you from the tips of my toes to the bottom of my heart!10 out of 10, highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Semi generous vegetarian options. One vegan option. Removals permitted on menu items but no substitutions.

Stopped in for Sunday brunch. We had the sausage gravy and egg/cheese croissant. Both were delicious, and we both left full! We'll be back! ?

I’m really sad and disappointed with my last experience. I drove almost an hour because this is my favorite cafe. When I first walked in, the croissant machine was broken not a problem. The one worker took no time to acknowledge me or even try to take my order. Hopefully next time will be different.

The tarragon chicken salad on croissant had us coming here twice in one week! So good! The chef is very engaging with customers, he came out of the kitchen both times to make sure we were enjoying the food. And the barista/waitress was also very kind.Everything was good—key lime tart and cheesecake, cookie, breakfast croissant, drinks… They even had a daily special of chicken ramen—random, but so good!!All-in-all a lovely family-owned business that we are happy to support.

I would give them more than 5 stars, v nice cafe & v nice & friendly employees, the food is great, I had the best grilled cheese sandwich ever & the tomato soup to die for, we got the chance to talk to the chef he was v knowledgeable with what he does there, the pastries r amazing specially the chocolate 1 , next time I ll try the pudding looks amazing, we ll definitely come back soon.

Very nice, lively, but comfortable atmosphere! Products are labeled and easy to read. Employees are conversational and pleasant to talk to. Some of their menu items are pricier, but goods are sourced locally, and bakery items are reasonable prices for a great taste. All of the bakery items are clearly homemade and scones crumble in your mouth.

Management and staff was friendly, mindful and helpful. Food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. The coffee was perfect and the pastries delicious.

La Petite is an adorable French-inspired bakery located just outside of Lancaster City. The cafe atmosphere, kind staff, dedicated owner, and delicious food makes La Petite my go-to spot for a delicious breakfast, brunch, pastry, or drink. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite that tastes like it was made by someone with a passion for food.

Kudos to the chef! The food was exquisite. Ordered the grilled cheese and a latte. Absolute perfection. Will be coming again.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I came to Lancaster for a wedding and wanted a nice cafe for breakfast! I saw La Petite on Google maps and was so excited to find a French cafe! I'm always a little nervous to try new cafes! The ambiance of the cafe is beautiful! Also service was perfect, I didn't feel rushed, they were so sweet and helpful! The drinks and food came out not too long after we sat down! The Southwest bowl was the best breakfast I've had in a long time! I was full but not an ill full haha! The salsa on top was full of so much flavor that I had to ask where they get out from! When I learned the chef makes it homemade, I was impressed! When I found out the owner is the baker, I had to try the lemon blueberry tart! Hands down the best one I've ever had! Wasn't too sweet but also wasn't too tart!! My coffee ago was so refreshing!! I got the lavender honey latte!! It wasn't too sweet and they didn't overload it on the lavender which was fantastic cause others cafes usually add too much!!If I lived closer I'd come here everyday!o highly recommend this too anyone and everyone!!

I always drive by here and I’m like: I’ll have to go in one day that place looks good! And it is good! I went around 1 on a Wednesday and it was very quiet. The place is decorated nicely. The customer service is wonderful. I ordered an egg and cheese bagel and it comes with a side of potatoes which is lovely. I got an iced mocha which was also good. The coffee is very mild and not super overpowering or acidic. The food is fresh and flavorful. The prices are perfect. I absolutely recommend coming here. It’s my new favorite spot!
