We were in town for a Rugby tournament and have been a long time fan of their beer so we took advantage of how close our hotel was to check out their taphouse/restaurant.The building has a presence but is extremely inviting but parking was a challenge. Ultimately we ended up with a spot in their lot but it took some time/patience.That minor nit aside, upon entering the restaurant we were warmly and quickly greeted. It was a Friday night during the NCAA tournament so it was predicably busy so it took a moment to get seated. We may have waited a few minutes at most before we were taken to a table. The ambiance/atmosphere definitely leans into it's Lancaster heritage ... warm, comfortable, and rustic. But that's an aside. After being seated we were greeted by our server almost immediately. He brought us water and showed us the specials. From that point forward our dinner just flowed. Orders taken, our appetizer served (corn dog fried shrimp) amazingly fast followed very quickly by our burgers, my wife got the LBC Cheeseburger with mushrooms and Swiss and I got the LBC and subbed out the meat for a black bean burger and added a cup of white chili).I can't overstate how fresh, fast and flavorful everything was. Overall, between the food and the beer it was outstanding.

The food and beers were great! Had a nice selection of cocktails as well. We had the wings and truffle fries which were really good. Servers were really friendly.

extremely disappointed with quality and service today. The food here used to be SO GOOD. In the past the salads here could be described as artisanal. Online, my meal wouldve been 14 dollars, in store it was 21 for a salad. the quantity and quality of the salad was not worth 21 dollars. A Cesar salad with a 4 ounce steak with an 11 dollar upcharge, cut into 4 small slivers. it was clear the price point did match the size of the steak or the salad. to wrap it up, the quality, quantity and presentation has dropped SEVERELY.

Very cool building, old tobacco factory. The staff were amazing, the hostess and waiter supper friendly like part of the family. The food was top notch, will be back again. Planning an event and they offer a cool party room.

In a nutshell, the food was good and the service was awful. My hubby and I went there for dinner at the end of Lancaster Restaurant Week. We sat at the bar while waiting for a table and ended up eating at a table in the bar - which was fine. But it took a while for someone to clean the bar from the people that had sat there previously, and then the bartender snapped at us when we didn't hear him say the word "menu". And then he ended up waiting on us at the table in the bar area. Over the course of our meal, he was more interested in chatting with his buddies about football than attending his tables. The food was good - we shared the pretzel for an appetizer, my hubby got a burger (which was cooked perfectly), and I ordered the pretzel crusted chicken - which was really good. The portion of food I got was gigantic. Then we split the cinnamon pretzels for dessert - and we didn't come close to finishing them because we were stuffed. But they came out screaming hot and fresh like the rest of our meal from the kitchen staff. If I ever go back, I'll know to get a table in the restaurant.Parking: We had no trouble finding a spot to park, but the lot is tight.

First time visitor and consider how crowded it was on a Friday night, we anticipated great stuff. My Bada Bing Cosmo was the worst Cosmo I've ever tried. It actually tasted watery. My partner's Lager was nice. Our sharable 6 pierogi appetizer looked wonderful but after we each tried one, we left the rest. They were tough and extremely chewy and even the fried onion topping was chewy. My fish sandwich was just ok. Fries were decent. My partner's pulled pork was fair. I don't often complain but we will not be returning. Waitstaff was good and not to blame for the food.

One of the worst dinners we’d had in a while. There were babies screaming at 7:30/8 pm on a Saturday. Our service was very slow and I had to ask for the check because we hadn’t seen our waiter in 20 minutes. The wings were chewy. There was also something off about the margarita pizza (I was expecting fresh basil. It was basically just a cheese pizza with basil oil.)

We really liked this place. They don't take reservations, but we still decided to go on a Saturday night. We waited a bit, but that was to be expected. Parking was tight in the lot, but we found a spot on the street not too far away. Let me say they have plenty of beer to choose from. I'm not a beer drinker, but I saw one called Strawberry Wheat that was an award winner and tasted amazing. I'll be back for that beer when I go there again. Nice place to just chill and hang out. They have plenty of seating. Their Teriyaki Cauliflower is an amazing dish. I'll be getting that again the next time I go. They forgot my husband's pretzel. He shared my Cauliflower with me and he agreed about how amazing it was. He said they have the best burger he's had since moving to PA. Except when he grills his own, he hasn't had a decent burger until tonight. I had the chopped salad with a beautifully perfectly cooked piece of salmon. Job well done. People are friendly. Staff is great.

We didn’t have to wait too long to get seated but once we were seated the service was awful. Our waitress Joanna was not attentive and only came a total of four times (to get our drinks, orders and to bring our checks and boxes). We also needed refills and more sauces and we had to ask another waitress to get her to come to us for refills. The food was okay at best. Buffalo cauliflower and wings were dry and had no sauce. Burgers were decent but they switched the toppings on our two burgers. Definitely expected better

Managers Kylie and Nick worked with us to secure the Walnut Room for a surprise birthday party. We brought a few balloons to liven in up, but the room itself was fantastic. Historic brick walls and copper tables provided the perfect ambiance. The service we received was phenomenal. Despite the rest of the restaurant being packed, our servers were attentive and friendly. They happily split our check three ways which was important to us. Great food, amazing staff and cozy atmosphere. Well done, LBC!!! We’ll be back!

Was here two weeks ago as our last stop on three brewery tour in Lancaster and did 12 flight of beer. . The pnut butter porter was my favorite but all of them were very tasty. Would have given 5 stars but the crab dip was way too salty and maybe the first time we’ve ever ordered a crab dip anywhere and would not finish. Way too much bay seasoning. The steak egg roll were just okay and like I’d get anywhere. Good but not great. However the chicken pot stickers were excellent. All in all we enjoyed this place the couple next to us had fish and chips and looked excellent. Next time !
