Salted Basque is INSANELY good. Lived in/near multiple major cities and have been to most the recommend bakeries. Only had a loaf this good 1 or 2 times in my life. Don't skip it!

I've read a few about "these women" from 2014- 2018, and it seems they are no longer around as it seems they were actually hurting business. I had a matcha cookie and a lemon muffin at the last minute (about 220 PM Sat) but everyone kind of wants the day to end sooner in the market at that point. Both were very flavorful and I'd certainly be willing to come back and see what some other artisan or artisan like creations they might offer as that fits the bill for me.Male staff was friendly- maybe Ric himself.Environment is the typical intimate small spaces nature of the Lancaster market.

We haven't made it to the shop in town but we are frequent customers of the Ric's Bread in the Lancaster Central Market. Everything we've bought there has been outstanding and delicious ! The gingerbread was yummy , all of their muffins are fresh ( banana chocolate chip is our favorite) , any flavor of their baked oatmeal is highly recommended and their breads are fresh and delicious . On a recent visit we purchased baked oatmeal and some muffins but saw that the last loaf of raspberry swirl was sold and I was disappointed. The gentleman working the stand ( he's always there when we stop in and is very friendly and helpful) told me he could put an order in for me and bring it to the market for me to pickup . When we went there several days later he had a fresh loaf of raspberry swirl bread waiting for us . I wish I knew his name so we could give him a glowing review for his excellent customer service, he's always very nice , funny and knowledgeable. And my raspberry swirl bread was absolutely delicious !!!!! If you haven't tried Ric's Bread then you are missing out !!! Love this place and will always be our go to for fresh bakery products !!!!!

I love baked goods, and Ric's Bread is my favorite vendor at the Headhouse Farmers Market. I've tried most if not all of their muffins, many of their cookies and scones, and all their sweet breads like the cinnamon raisin, pepperoni and cheese, raspberry swirl, Jewish apple bread. I love that their breads are tasty, they have a wide variety of interesting/flavors, and the prices are good. Way better than High Street, another vendor in the market and a stand-alone restaurant in Center City, whose breads are not as tasty AND overpriced. I've tried High Street's breads many times and have been disappointed and regretful each time. So I stick with Ric's. Today I got peach basil scone, 3 muffins (banana peanut butter, pumpkin toffee cream cheese, pear chai), and gingerbread. I didn't get the individual price breakdown, but overall it was $15.50

I used to work in downtown Lancaster before the pandemic. I just wanted to say that Ric's Bread was fantastic for lunch. They made the best salads, and also had the best sandwiches. Any time you got a sandwich or salad it could make at least two meals. The people that worked Ric's Bread we're always friendly, and very accommodating to any changes you need to make to your food. Ricks bread was hands-down my favorite lunch spot
