The weather forecast projected a sunny weekend, I guess it is nice weather to start my one week vacation. I said to my wife. Though the options are limited so, we decided to drive to Lancaster, PA, for the weekend. A long drive but happy moments with family, now we are hungry. FYI- I am a foodie! and a portion of good food is healing to the soul lol! We got to Rockvale Diner, hmmm...welcoming environment. The omelet was well cooked, fried Steak with potatoes, and reasonable price too. I will come back again and again.

We tried to call and order from Hotel, phone number was no longer in service. Assumed they shut down.

Great food! One of my favorite places to eat. Excellent breakfast. I had the Rockvale Feast Two eggs, home fries, two large pancakes, bacon, sausage, toast, coffee, and orange juice for 8.99. My wife had the open face hot Turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and a side for 8.58. Very good meals.

Very good. Food was good, owners were very friendly, always went to the second level making sure you were getting good service. Was disappointed when they closed.

Portions were large. Food was tasty. Priced very reasonably. Bathrooms needed immediate attention and cleaning.

Food was okay. My waitress was nice. Front desk lacked customer service. They got rid of breakfast buffet, even though a sign was still up on the wall. Not happy about that.

I ate my first meal of 2020 here and let me tell you, if this year is anything like my experience at Rockvale Diner, we're all in for a treat! My friend got a salad (pictured below) with his meal, and it was the most adorable salad I've ever seen! Look at those cucumbers slices! How adorable! Our original plan was to take a trip to the Cracker Barrel down the road, but the wait was nearly an hour long! See, I was getting food with my friend and his girlfriend, as we were all in town to celebrate New Year's Eve. We were hungry, tired, and honestly a bit hungover, so you can imagine we weren't in the best of moods after being turned away from that Cracker Barrel. That wasn't very 2020 of them. Boo! Luckily, Rockvale Diner was there to save the day! They had an excellent selection of breakfast, lunch AND dinner foods for us to choose from, which was very helpful considering all three of us were in the mood for a different meal. Our server had a number of french-toast related jokes to tell us, which really brightened the day. I ordered an omelette here and let me tell you, this was the biggest omelette I've ever seen. It was amazing. I'm not joking when I say this omelette looked like it was juicin' with Barry Bonds in the mid 90's. On a bad team like the Orioles or Marlins, this omelette would slot in perfectly at the 3rd or 4th spot in the batting order. It would probably get a solid 25-30 home runs as well. It tasted pretty good too. Anyway, I could talk about Rockvale Diner all day, but I'll stop the review for now. Definitely visit this place if you can, and remember to have a blessed day! Go Birds!

Good food, friendly service. We had pork chop special - plenty of meat breaded and cooked well, and the Chicken Cordon Bleu, not served as the traditional rolled chicken with ham and cheese stuffed inside, but a ham slice with a grilled chicken breast on top - coated with cheese. Not what we expected, but still tasty. Sides were okay, nothing special. We will probably visit next time we are outlet shopping.

This used to be the old Bob Evans place. The night we went was pretty quiet. Friendly staff and decent food and prices.

Had to wait 20+ minto be seated. The food was below average. The server we barely seen. No refills on drinks. Had to ask a different waitress for my check. I wont go back ever. I give it 2 stars only because the lady that rang me out was super friendly. Other than that not worth the time.

Food was well prepared and tasty. Spouse had pierogies, which were attractively presented with outstanding flavor. I had potato bacon soup which was very good.

I had a late lunch with several friends and found the salad and potatoes were done to perfection, however the meat or strip steak as it was called was so tough and un attractive that it could not be cut or consumed,
