So I made the mistake of going to Sluggers 5 minutes before they closed. I did not realize it was closing and if I knew we would have chosen a different time. We were greeted by a woman. Who promptly told us only slices and cold subs available, must be to go. She had “tone” which made me uncomfortable immediately. But my husband said to go ahead and get the slices. I tried to pay by tap and it was not working for me. She abruptly grabbed my card and began bending it to try to force it to work (did not ask to take control of my card) while bending the card in obvious frustration & anger because we dared to enter the pizza shop so late, I said “please do not bend my card” it worked, but we waited for the slices in silence because that is the tone little miss sunshine choose to take. When we were leaving I heard her mimicking me. I went back in to make her aware I heard her nasty mouth mimicking me. Really sorry for this experience because it used to be my favorite pizza……… she does not belong in customer service if she thinks it’s okay to make fun of the customers. Cannot help but wonder if the owner thinks that’s good. Either way not okay. Understand the desire to leave but do NOT understand the nasty disrespect I was subjected to endure.

This pizza is different from others. Other pizza places have too much grease. But here, the pizza has just the right amount of grease.Speaking of the right amount, the price I'd cheap, a lot cheaper than others.The interior is like a typical pizzaria in New York. Classic.

This is Nancy, I know you all very well... From growing up on new st. And going all the time with my mom, To now being an adult and going with my own children!!! I love them all in there... When I was admitted to the hospital this past Dec. My brother called into make a order for us, other places gave him a hardtime cuz he was trying to pay over the phone as he was at work in Littiz and I was in hospital... Chris took the call very well and food was delivered to my children at home... I'm forever thankful for that! Although I work for a pizza shop I still have to say sluggers is the best I've had since a kid!!!! You all rock and the food is A+ AMAZING ?Kid-friendliness: Being able to bring my kids we're I grew up at is ? my kids love it here

This place was everything you want in a small pizzeria. You were welcomed as soon as you came in the door and felt valued during your whole stay. The food was great and the prices were fair. Anytime I'm in town and pizza, this is where I'll be going. They have great specials as well so check them out!
