First time at the market with my 3 kids and your stand caught their attention. The chicken fingers and chicken sandwich were amazing. My kids couldn't stop talking about how good they were. My daughter also ordered the Mac &cheese. It was excellent as well. We can't wait to return to try the shrimp.The only downfall was the service. The young man working did not communicate at all ( visited 3/27 around 3). He needs to learn customer service.

It's hard to find good soul food in Lancaster County PA... until now!Fried fish, collards, Mac n cheese all cooked to perfection. This is my new go to spot...It's inside of the Southern Market which has an upscale mixology bar smack in the middle where I enjoyed an old fashioned while I waited for my food.

Today, I got the Chicken Sandwich w/ Mac and Cheese. The order was made fresh and you can definitely taste it! The sandwich was amazing but the star of the show for me was the Mac and Cheese. It was so flavorful and very well seasoned! I highly recommend to anyone in the area!

At Southern Market location…40 minutes for chicken tenders and fries. “Your chicken is ready, but the fries aren’t up yet.”Uhhh. I probably don’t want the fries at this point if they’ve been frying for 40+ minutes. “Can I just get a refund?” No response from the guy. Nothing. No apology. No eye contact. Nothing.Got my refund and won’t be back. If you don’t want to work here, then don’t.

Wow just wow… went in to get some food on a whim.. and selected x marks the spot at random. I’m sooo glad I did. I got the jumbo shrimp with Mack and cheese and it was delicious!!! Staff is very friendly and the food is reasonably priced and the atmosphere of its location is very inviting.

This was our first time here and we were taken back by the whole experience. Since this place is in an open market, it shares the dining area with multiple other vendors. The decor and ambiance was refreshing and trendy.Now, the food that we had was amazing. The portions here are generous for what you pay. Everything was hot and fresh and full of flavor.Great overall experience!!

I love soul food. I have traveled all over the country and have had some great food. This is some damn good soul food!!! This is the kinda food that would make ya hug your momma!
