I am a person who, if possible, does not leave restaurant reviews. I went because the review rating was 4.2. However, I was so disappointed that I am leaving a review so that you do not suffer the same damage as me. The food was too oily and tasteless. This is a restaurant I never want to go to again.

Outstanding food - This is a tiny place, with limited seating - more for takeout than eat-in, but so worth it for the takeout.I just posted a review for White Jasmine, up the road from Mama Thai - and don't tell them but I love Mama Thai's Pad Thai WAY more than theirs. I get it with extra chicken and extra sauce and it was amazing. It is also such a generous portion that although it cost $17, it fed me for three meals! Highly recommend this place!!

this place really has gone down hill since the owner left. She really used to care about her dishes. Now, it is very sloppy and not very good. it is a shame, because it was great.

Terrible Thai food. Service is terrible by the cashier. Will not be going back ever: rather go to the Thai restaurant next door down which is White Jasmine.

Good Thai take out. Not a sit-down place, pick up only. Red curry and drunken noodle are legit. Flavor is spot on, all items freshly made. Pineapple fried rice was ok - seems to come with a couple shrimp no matter what protein you order (we had chicken). Also got a couple orders of crispy spring rolls - these are fried and come with a sweet chili dipping sauce - worried they'll be soggy by the time you get them home in plastic containers that trap moisture? Fear not! Mama Thai had a great solution for keeping the spring rolls nice and crispy - containers have a few holes punched in the top to vent the steam. All dishes had a substantial amount of vegetables no matter what protein was ordered - esp appreciate this, as many places throw in a couple carrot and pepper slices and call it good. Really wish they had summer rolls - wrapped in rice paper and not fried, usually come with a peanut sauce. But all in all a good experience at Mama Thai - will be back!

This is the worst Pad Thai I have ever tasted. I am from NY and I have never tasted anything like this. All I taste is ketchup, never again.

The most amazing Thai food you can find in Lansdale and well worth the price when it comes to quality & quantity. I can not recommend them enough!

Ordered the chicken satay and shrimp roll appetizers along with the drunken noodles with chicken. When we opened it and started eating both of us sort of stopped and put the lids back on. The chicken skewers reminded me of firm tofu, lacking in any flavor. The chicken entree was mainly soggy noodle bits that looked unappealing. Over all we spent $40 on food that we attempted to eat and then just threw out. I was so hoping for some delicious Thai food!

The green curry noodles are awesome. I order them maybe once per month. Spicy yet tasty. Def the best Thai food in the area with tons of flavor and fresh veggies. Please continue being so yummy!

We love this place! This is our go to Thai takeout place. Vey traditional flavors. Sauces are great. It’s always an A plus. We just got take out for Valentine’s Day. Never disappoints.Vegetarian options: Tofu in the pad Thai is perfectly cooked.

Tried this Thai place for the first time through ubereat and gotta say I’m a little bit disappointed. I asked for utensils but they forgot to put it in, so I had to drive to the store to pick up some since our home is under-remodeling. Tom yum soup was good, but drunken noodles and Thai pineapple fried rice was way below my expectations. Drunken noodles was very mushy, noodles was pretty much broken into tiny pieces, flavor was not bad but somehow little too salty. Thai pineapple fried rice was also very mushy-wet, they put way too much turmeric powder and it’s extremely over powering. It lost the wok and pineapple flavors. Also canned pineapple was used in this so there was no natural sourness.

We should’ve read the last review before giving this place a chance. To quote the previous review, this was indeed the, “worst pad Thai ever.” So bad, we threw it out. Also, we spent more than five minutes inside before anyone even acknowledged we were there. I always give staff the benefit of the doubt but this is just bad business practice. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.

The food is just...okay. They get the basics right, but somehow the flavor is always a little bit off. Once I got a Basil fried rice, and there was too much seasoning, like there were lumps of seasoning in some parts of the fried rice, and it was very oily. This time I got pad see ew, and it was a little too sweet for what it should be. My husband's curry has a layer of oil on top of it, we had to drain some of that. It was probably a whole tablespoon worth of oil just floating on top. Their Thai iced tea is also wayyy too sweet. I had to dilute it 50:50 with milk. I feel like I'm getting diabetes after eating this meal. Don't know why there's many good reviews. I guess we don't have many Thai places in this town. But I've definitely had way better Thai food.
