“Great atmosphere with a good beer list and good food. I would have had more to drink but it was about a 10 minute wait between ordering a drink to getting it. It was not busy at all and I almost went up to the bar to get it myself. I would have left with a larger bill and happier outlook if service was a bit faster.“

I lived up in New Jersey for a long time and I’ve noticed that Chinese food wasn’t very good in the Philadelphia area when I was living there recently. Very happy. “I have been craving their deep dish pizza for a while and finally worked out. Ordered the Detroit Deep dish pepperoni, simply awesome! I picked it up and I arrived a little before it was ready so the guy kindly offered me a soda while waiting as well as bringing it over my car once it was ready since it was cold and rainy. It was so worth it, it was sooo good!“

“The food tasted great, but unfortunately, the restaurant was understaffed which caused delays in service. As a result, the service quality was not up to the mark. Additionally, the portion sizes were quite small. However, we enjoyed the soft shell crab dish, pad thai, and pineapple fried rice which were all prepared nicely. Our favorite dessert was the tempura ice cream.“

“Really kind staff and yummy breakfast! We've ordered delivery a few times for breakfast because I saw that they offer gluten-free options. Gluten free is not listed on the delivery app menus but I took a chance ordering pancakes and adding a note requesting gluten free. I figured if they sent regular pancakes my husband could just eat them. Not only was it not an issue, but they clearly labeled the food for us as well. I've ordered gluten free pancakes and Belgian waffles with no problem and it has been really nice as a treat once in a while, esp. since most places in our area don't offer gluten free versions. I thought they had gluten free muffins as well and ordered them, opting to just refund if they didn't have them. Instead of refunding the gluten free muffins or just sending regular muffins in their place, they sent a free order of gluten free chocolate chip pancakes with a note on the box. It was so nice of them, and completely unnecessary! Having to adjust to a gluten free diet is a big, inconvenient chore and often disappointing as you realize your options for treats have been seriously limited. Every meal kind of becomes a drag. It's really nice to have a local place that can accommodate this need! I realize that ordering these kinds of foods pretty much guarantees cross contamination because we can't expect kitchens to have totally separate areas and tools just for some orders--but it's a choice I make once in a while and I'm lucky not to be a person with severe/immediate reactions to exposure. I've never felt sick after eating breakfast from Valentino's and it's not an everyday treat but I'm super grateful to have it as an option!!!“

“Delicious food and friendly service. We had the chicken taco salad and beef taco salad. Both had plenty of meat and lettuce and good seasoning. We had to take them in to go boxes because there was plenty to eat with some left over. When we first sat down we were served delicious chips with refried beans and crema.“

“West Main Diner in Lansdale, looks like a traditional Pennsylvania urban luncheonette, but also serves as a community meeting hall. On Sunday morning it was almost full house with seniors enjoying their social life with friends and neighbors. There were younger families, too, but white hairs predominated. Why? Because even with post pandemic inflation coming under control, food prices are still higher than before, and you get more bang for your buck here. For people on fixed or other retirement income, West Main Diner is about the only welcome sign on the horizon. For this, it deserves a lot of credit. Beyond that, the grub there is pretty darn good as well. I sat at the counter in one of eight spinners overlooking the short order grill and coffee operation. Always the best place in the house for a solo traveler wanting breakfast. Menu and coffee arrived quickly. Debbie, my server answered my questions and took my order with pleasant demeanor. The house was busy, so it took almost 15 minutes for my Country Omelet (sausage, tomato, onion, green pepper, hash browns and rye toast) to arrive before me. No problem. The activity in the dining room and at the grill kept me entertained. I watched my omelet being assembled as the cook and her assistants joked with each other. When placed before me, it was steaming. Some black pepper and shakes of Tabasco, and I was ready to dive in. The eggs were perfectly moist and packed with ingredients. The taters were crispy and the rye toast buttered well. Liked it all very much. The only shortcomings were the issue around Yelp offering a free coffee @ check in, when that perk didn't exist according to management, and not being offered more coffee when I had bottom-upped my mug before finishing the meal. My sense was that they were closing at 2, and she wanted to start cleaning up her station at the counter and wanted me out of the way. I can understand that, but how much better to offer a refill and work around me for a few more minutes? This institution is still worthy of high grades despite minor inconvenience.“

“Great food, great service, reasonable prices. I both dine-in and take-out. Food is delicious, and quantities large. Prices are typical for Chinese food in this area, even though quality is far above average. Service is excellent: takeout usually is ready in 10-15 minutes; staff is friendly, very courteous, and attentive. Restaurant is small, but mirrored walls make it feel larger. Very nice decor -- much better than typical Chinese restaurant. Has a large, indoor fish pond (decorative, not for food) which is quite attractive. Restrooms are clean, with some nice touches.“

“Firstly, I want to mention that I'm Dominican and a cook myself. This place is the most authentic tasting Dominican food I've had in a while. I ordered the Pernil, chicharon, and stewed beef over rice and beans. The beef was tender and seasoned well. The Pernil was juicy and delicious but the chicharon was bursting in flavor!“

“A great go-to for vegans! Apparently both owners are vegan, so the menu has more vegan-friendly versions of items than the majority of restaurants. And the food is really good. I've had a vegan burger before, and love their hummus, and today I tried a vegan cheesesteak hoagie that not only was super good but also I could only eat half of it and the fries (which are also really good...and you can get vegan ranch). It can be difficult to have conversation there, but that's my only complaint (and of course takeout is available).Vegetarian options: Plenty of really good vegetarian and vegan options!“

“Excellent ambiance and delicious interpretations of classic comfort dishes. Our sandwiches were delicious, and the crab poutine was outstanding. On their chips and french fries, they sprinkle a seasoning salt that has a quite distinctive flavour.“

“I used DoorDash - I'm at a hotel visiting from out of town.. so I cant speak to the atmosphere. My order was piping hot and they called to confirm details - they were very nice. The chicken parm, bread, and soup were all fantastic... and they were all packaged very neatly with and included everything I needed to enjoy my meal.“

“The 4 times I've been here recently have been wonderful. We really love the deep ellum cheesesteak with queso and fried jalapeños. The tots with beer cheese and their mac n cheese with brisket on top are delish! The only item so far we had trouble was their boneless wings, my son wouldn't touch them, I took a bite and they were really tough and chewy.The staff is always so friendly too! Quick to serve and help.I agree with a previous review, the menu up front can be daunting and hard to read. I suggest looking at the menu beforehand or look at the printed copy they have at the register (this is what I do).“

“Decent "mainstream" Pho restaurant for the mass. Pho came out fast. Both beef and chicken pho are good. One small "complaint" was the broth could be a tad hotter. Grilled pork and egg roll bun was the best. The pork was marinated with fresh lemongrass, which brought out a very nice flavor.We were very thirsty after our meal. Perhaps the chef used too much MSG in the food.“

“I order all the time, the flounder, shrimp, chicken and scallops platters are filling and taste great! I love the mega fries for breakfast. Unlike most fast food and other restaurants your prices stayed the same or minimal increases. For me a senior person on a retirement income I appreciate this. “Rays makes the absolute best cheesesteaks and hoagies. LOADED with meat and all fresh ingredients. When we lived locally, we would order take out from Rays weekly. We moved to Virginia last year & can't find a sandwich even close to comparable. Rays is our first stop whenever we visit the Lansdale area.“
