If I could, I would give this place a zero. This was my first time there, and I had high hopes even though I heard nothing but negative things about it. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a try. I ordered stuffed salmon, green beans, a cheesesteak, and an egg roll. Firstly, my salmon was completely burnt on the inside and no stuffing, rendering it inedible. Secondly, I paid $6.00 for half a cup of green beans, which were just okay. Lastly, the cheesesteak egg roll was merely a large roll of meat with no cheese, onions, dipping sauce. What a waste of $30

I got the sweet and spicy chicken fries and they were good. Fries crisp. Chicken had good flavor. The sweet and spicy sauce was really good. Tasted like it had a lil bourbon in it idk but I liked it. Good service and they had Martin playin so the ambiance was top tier. I would include a pic but it doesn't photo well.

We had so much hope for this place. First we called in an order and ordered the seafood wings, the girl who took the order asked me to hold came back and asked what else I would like. Go to pick up the food to be told they don't have the seafood wings available which leads me to believe she may have known, asked someone and then still let us order it. They said they meant to call us back and got busy. The place was dead. Also ordered the Parmesan garlic wings and an order of cabbage. The wings looked burnt and tasted burnt, the sauce had zero flavor. The cabbage was SO salty, we couldn't even eat it and threw it out.

Wife & I tryed this place out and we enjoyed our service and food ! Came out hot and fresh and full of flavor, we definitely will be back soon. Wife had the cheesesteak roll, and green beans, I had the cheesesteak quesadilla & we shared the bourbon bbq chicken fries, Very tasty ? and very fulfilling. We also had the strawberry lemonade (homemade in house) VERY good !

Drove 45 minutes to try this restaurant only to walk in and there be no customer service; the girl at the front had no clue what she was doing and was saying we could alter things that couldn’t be changed as well as telling us things were unavailable that weren’t. Food was hot yet terrible. Soul bowl - Mac was greasy and garlicky, chicken tenders were dry and tasted old, cabbage was red (not sure why) and yams were okay (tolerable). Red velvet wings were DISGUSTING absolutely bland while the garlic lemon pepper wings were EXTREMELY SALTY. I spent $36 and threw 75% of my food in the trash; highly upset and would not recommend. I will say there is a girl with red hair and tattoos on her arm in the back and she was the best part of our visit, very respectful, knowledgeable, and helpful; they need to take notes from her!
I never write reviews for restaurants but this place is just amazing. Wonderful staff to talk to, and delicious food every time. The lemonades on hand are homemade and absolutely delicious, the sweet potato dry rub for the chicken wings is a must have if you love a little sweet.

The Soul Rolls was amazing. Very unique & innovative approach to egg rolls. I tasted the Mac & Cheese, Yams, & Cabbage. I would recommend working on finding a dip to go with the egg rolls The Punch was also very good. I was service by a very delightful lady Ms. Khaliyah (sorry if I spelled her name wrong). She was such a joy to talk too. Bring back the spicy chicken wing challenge! We tasted the spiciest sauce they offer for the wings and it was spicy. At first it was sweet but it creeps up on you really fast! Black Owned Restaurant! Support!!

Greatly disappointed is an understatement. Drove from Philly after seeing this on social media. Store opened at 1pm arrived around 2pm waited over 30 minutes to receive what looked like the day before leftovers. The soul bowl was a no. Mac and cheese hard, never had cabbage covered in red stuff, I thought it was bacon at first. Yams tasteless. Nothing about this food looks appetizing. Fries were good but that was the first thing done in my order and sat in the counter until everything else was completed. Cheese steak wrap (not pictured) was ok just dry. Fish nuggets some were hard some not and weren’t seasoned. If I had opened my food at the store I definitely would’ve asked for a refund.

My wife and I arrived approximately around 4:45 on a Sunday afternoon. The place closes at 6.i should have turned around when I didn't see anyone in the place. Not one table occupied. We proceeded to order. The young lady was cordial and professional, however when we tried to order punch, we were told they were out..In fact, they were out of every single drink. No soda, no tea, no water..Bottled, canned or fountain..What kind of establishment offers zero to drink?The young lady informed us our order would take approximately 25 minutes or so.. No problem..Keep in mind, we intended to sit down and eat. When we came back around 5:15, the floors had been mopped, all the chairs were up on top of the tables..With 45 minutes left before closing! Sooo, we take the food out to the parking lot, and begin to eat in the truck. Now, we travel alot, and eat out alot. This very well may have been the nastiest food I've ever tasted. Im not exaggerating. Poorly cooked and poorly seasoned sandwiches. Oily fries that tasted more like fishy cooking oil than fries. We had to throw all of it away. The restaurant proudly boasts "black owned, veteran owned" ..Well my wife and I are both black and veterans also..In fact we go out of our way to support both. Unfortunately I cannot support foolishness just because an owner is black. While the lady we dealt with was professional, the establishment itself, and the food was far from professional.
