Achenbach's Bakery is an institution in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and has been around since the 1950's. Their long johns and glazed donut pastry are something you crave and have to get your fix every now and then. You will not be disappointed.
I want to say your eclairs are to die for! We're from NY and your always a key stop on our visits to Lancaster! Would it be possible to know your secret to making those 1lb eclairs?

The long John's were delicious!! It was a mix of donut and croissant. The topping was amazing! It was a whipped fudge frosting that was light but thick. And it wasn't overall sweet!! The homemade fry pie was equally excellent!Highly recommend.
