I am having a hard time with this review because I have mixed feelings about The Red Headed Public House. While the overall experience was good, it started rather rude. Having reserved a table for 7, we arrived 20 minutes before, entering the main door I felt unsure of where to go since no one was around, then I hear a hostess yelling from somewhere “Can I help you” I had no idea where she was and quickly scanned to room, I couldn’t see anyone so I yelled “we have a reservation for 6 p.m were early but wasn’t sure if we could get a table” that’s when I noticed her, we had our whole conversation from across the room, then she stormed past us and got to our table and yelled “over here” then she stormed off. It was a weird way to start our dining, however, our waitress was great and the food was delicious. We did have our children there and I would recommend that this is not a child-friendly restaurant. And I would strongly recommend not ordering the chicken fingers and fries, they were small, and overpriced. Order pizza or burgers!

Since my SIL’s review was hidden by owner, let me reiterate. We were kind and generous with our server, who was making the most of an awful situation, but what a horrendous experience at brunch on Sunday. We met family members at this restaurant, as this was our halfway point - each of us driving about 45 minutes. The food was good along with the drink’s however menu items were extremely limited. The restaurant was not clean. Staff was limited. Food came out very sporadically. Not even a to go box or printer paper for our receipt. While we understand how difficult it is to run a business in our current economic climate, your staff indicated they didn’t even know your restaurant was closing!?!? They heard it through rumors!! It would have been nice to let your staff and patrons know about your closing and give a heads up about limited menu items, thereby avoiding humiliation on the part of your staff and frustration on the part of your patrons. Overall, quite a disappointing experience!

Burgers are fantastic and always done to perfection! Drinks and food both are reasonably priced and plenty of seating.

We booked The Red Headed League Public House for our wedding rehearsal dinner and it was absolutely amazing. We have tremendous service, the food was exceptional and the overall atmosphere was great. We were able to watch the games, but also walk around the bar and interact with our guests. Would recommend 100%!

Nice meal with good portions at a reasonable price. Atmosphere when we were in was nice and laid-back.

Last year at this time, my daughter went to great lengths to throw a surprise party for me at this establishment. And, I would have been surprised had it not been for the hostess that kept asking my husband and I if we were there for the surprise party. My husband kept giving her “looks” and I even stopped and asked him if he was throwing me a party. The hostess said “Wait, I’m confused, aren’t you here for the surprise party?” My husband and daughter were so upset, and I was too of course. When confronted with it as we were leaving, she screamed and swore at me in front of everyone at the bar. The owners were apologetic but did not even pull her aside, or reprimand her behavior. The food was ok, but it wasn’t great and the whole experience was so awful I can just never go back.

Service was very poor. Very few patrons and no one came to see if we wanted drinks or anything while waiting for a waitress. Bar tender was walking around sipping water and could not be bothered to see if we wanted drinks or to let us know a waitress was in the way. Bar back walked right passed us, too. We walked out.

Had reservations on Mother’s Day. Restaurant was Maybe 35%, 40% full. Ordered our entrees and fries. 1/3 of our party’s food came around 30 minutes into waiting. 2/3 ordered pizzas and took an extra 15 minutes - first person was finished when we got our food. Fries came and were lukewarm - we did get a new, fresh order. For the long wait, food was mediocre.Servers didn’t know who was taking care of our table, a handful came over to assist. When we asked about the wait. All became verbally combative and excuse filled stating “well a table of 12 put their orders in right before you, so…”Will not return.

My first time there was lovely. I ordered the bananas foster French toast and a mimosa. Yummm!

We went and were not impressed at all. The food presentation is good but not quality of the food. The large wings look like normal size wings. We also got broccoli cheddar soup which was served to my girlfriend and not even lukewarm. Plus the truffle fries were not that great either. The waitress did a good job.

Meh. The staff was pretty inattentive, and the menu was unimaginative and spartan. If it wasn't a pizza, burger, or slab of meat, it isn't on the menu. It's an interesting place that could be quite hip, but, as it stands, it's much more of an average neighborhood dive than a "destination" worthy of diversion.

Like most places they were short staffed. But this didn't seem to hinder our service. We had a challenge with the one item we ordered and when we asked the server about it she took it off the bill which we didn't expect.Beautiful restaurant.

We celebrated our baby shower there in their private room. From planning to actual execution they made everything easy. Brunch buffet was great, juice and mimosa bar, set up, etc. Pricing was less expensive then other quotes I got. If you’re looking to have an event or just get food and a drink I would highly recommend.

Big fan. Nice draft selection, solid pizza, $2 mimosas during Sunday brunch. Staff are friendly, but not imposing. Try the sweet and hot sauce on anything- you're welcome.
