This place is iconic. It is truly a treasure. I'm told many college students use this cafe- and the living area space- as study areas. I was there for an event, and while I live a while away, I can't wait to try what I did not try.

It felt like walking into an 1800’s Opium den, but the Opiu- coffee - was quite delicious. I got a quad shot latte, and it was entirely palatable.

Best cafe in the area and my all-time favorite place. The staff is always wonderfully friendly and helpful, the food and coffee are incredible, and the vibe is hard to beat. It's just far enough from the Penn State campus that it's not crammed with undergrads; while I was a grad student at PSU, I spent a LOT of time here while working on papers/my dissertation. It's a great cafe to work in, if that's your style: music is always pleasant and on the quieter side, and it's rarely chaotic or loud inside. You can usually snag a table and chair if you enjoy your coffee/tea there, which has the added bonus of your beverage coming in big beautiful homemade mugs from a local potter (which you can purchase if you want). Tons of vegetarian food, all of which is delicious. I live hours away now, but every time I'm vaguely in the area I go out of my way to stop here for a coffee and egg sandwich, and to get a couple bags of coffee beans to take home to tide me over until I'm next in the area.

The chai tea latte is perfect — not overly sweet, and the quiche of the day (many root vegetables) was delicious! All things fresh and homemade. Plus handmade pottery. Best local vibe!

In the words of William Shakespeare, "Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?Thou art more lovely and more temperate."Cafe Lemont is the coffee shop where everyone should be going. It cannot be compared to another coffee shop because it is peak.Their coffee is flavorful, their coffee/latte/cappuccino options are limitless, their baked goods are tantalizing, and the service is otherwordly.I am so sad I did not try this place sooner; however, she is my new go-to.

Cute coffee shop with delicious drinks and food. It is located within the larger house with ample seating. Service was friendly and atmosphere was lovely. Try the apple caramel cake and the egg pesto breakfast sandwich! You will not be disappointed.

For a small venue, full of Gemütlichkeit, just great! Quiet, nice place to work, and enjoy their vibe.

Walking in feels like a hug. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed by the ambiance, friendly and energetic service, all with great coffee and tasty homemade offerings. I ordered the Smoked Salmon BLT on Naan (minus the B, which they offered to add more salmon) and it was rye-rolling good. To help finish my coffee, we ordered the scratch-made French Apple Cake. Not too sweet and balanced well with the chunky walnuts. Can't wait to return. (Might even be tomorrow before hitting the road!)

A beautiful coffee shop located inside the Lemont house. Many nooks to sit in, and the outdoor area is also inviting. Nice staff and available parking. I got the London fog tea which was ok, but could use a bit extra lavender flavor. If you are here, consider stopping at the Slab Cabin park nearby for some nature, or at voodoo brewing for extra fun

I wish there were more places like this in the State College area. Small place great for a chat or reading. Food tastes good, but maybe a little underwhelming on feeling satiated. Not a deal breaker as I will definitely go back.

This is honestly the best coffee shop I have ever been to. It was this place that opened my eyes to just how good coffee can be. I never even liked coffee until I started coming here! This place has introduced me to so many delicious things. I never liked quiche until I had it here — their quiche is amazing, with a buttery, flakey homemade crust and a generous amount of cheese on top. They bake different quiches based on what’s available, and I’ve enjoyed every quiche I’ve tried, from the potato leek to the broccoli spinach to the ones with butternut and cauliflower. They also have different soups on rotation that is one better than the next. I had never tried parsnip soup before, but their parsnip soup is so delicious I ordered a bowl in store and one to go! They had a thick black bean soup once that I actually brought home and poured over tortilla chips to make some delicious nachos. I can’t wait until they have their dream of mushroom soup in stock again! This place has introduced me to so many things and helped me try so many new foods. Everything is delicious! My Dad is a picky eater, and even he loves to come here for the smoked salmon BLT.I could rave on and on about the food, but what really makes this place special is the people. The owners and staff are great, and they have truly built this place into a cornerstone of the community. They feature art for sale from a different local artist every month, and they source their milk and eggs from local farms. They now have an Amish vendor who brings in fresh doughnuts every Friday.Overall, this is a wonderful place!
