I went here for a date with my girlfriend because we saw it driving and thought it looked cute on then outside. We were then shocked to see it was even bette on the inside. It had a great ambience nice music and was an overall very welcoming environment. While we did go at a relatively early time of 530, we were met instantly with amazing service and hospitality, the food came out quick and was amazing, everything tasted fresh, highly recommend

I have lived in the State College area for a decade now. I was told about Kamrai 8 years ago and it never worked out that I gotten the chance to dine there. This past Saturday I finally had the chance to eat there and I now I wish I would have made it a point to have eaten there years ago.We arrived a little after they opened and were the second couple to be seated. We were sat in the section which once was the porch of this beautiful old home. AlthoughI found it hard to read the menu in the dim light, I loved the atmosphere with the piano music playing in the background. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and our server was on top of it all for us. To start it off my wife and I had Sushi. My wife had the Dragon Roll and I decided on the Sex on The Moon Roll. While they both were delicious I enjoyed the Dragon Roll more. For the entree my wife had the Pad Thai and I had the Spicy Basil Yaki Udon. Now I didnt try the Pad Thai but my wife loved it. I must say that the Spicy Basil Yaki Udon was amazing. I got it with a medium heat and it was top notch. I generally like to try different foods so that I know I am not missing anything but when I go back Im thinking Ill have this again. We had a wonderful time on a little date during the Christmas season. Give this place a try. Just watch out for the days and times they are open. they are opene a limited days and hours.

Absolutely love this place. Hidden gem of State College/Lemont area. Anytime you dine here will be a special and memorable experience. Food is incredible. Live in NYC and I still compare every sushi/thai place that I go to to Kamrai. Nikki is one of the best people you will come across in any dining experience.

Can’t comment on the atmosphere but our take out food from here was awful. At least one thing was obviously old/past its date.

This restaurant offers a delightful blend of Asian fusion cuisine, featuring flavors from Thailand, China, and Japan. I particularly enjoyed their sushi and Thai curries; they were quite decent. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. If you happen to be in the area and have a fondness for Asian cuisine, I would certainly recommend giving this place a try.Parking: There is plenty of street parking next to the restaurant.

I love Kamrai! They have the best sashimi in the State College area, and their Tom Kha soup with tofu is lovely! Typically I get the pineapple chicken friend rice, but now that we're getting into fall, I'm looking forward to stopping by and getting some pumpkin curry! Overall, definitely worth the visit!
