“Listen I come here frequent because it's next to my house. This day March 20, 2024 whoever yall had back there slangging burgers at 815 needs paid. Normally the food here is mehhh normally been sitting around fries. This man handed out a FAMILY BUNDLE all 6 burgers literally looked like the menu. I've never seen someone at fast good slang a menu picture. Fries hot and fresh. Keep that quad on.“
“Stopped here for lunch today with a coworker. It was both our first time here. Chatted with the owner and a new waitress he was training. Both very nice to talk with!I ordered breakfast for lunch, 2 sunny side up eggs, hash browns, bacon, and toast. My coworker buddy had the roadhouse burger. We both really ENJOYED both the lunch food, and our overall experience.Give this place a try, everything is prepared fresh and tastes great. You won't be disappointed ??“
“Just went to Big Ray's for the first time and so glad I did my wife and absolutely loved our burgers one of the best burgers I've had period the hand cut fries were delicious!!You definitely have some new customers and I will spread the word for people who don't don't what a gem Bug Ray's is..can't wait to go back!!Customer service was also outstanding!!“
“We went for the first time at lunch on a Saturday. Parking is a problem because they are so busy, but businesses across the street are closed on the weekend, so there are spaces there. Once inside, the decor is cute with the garage theme and the seating is in comfortable booths. Service was perfect, fast and friendly (the owner stopped by to check if things were OK.) The Louisiana burger was huge and delicious, if a little heavy on the blue cheese for me. The Buffalo chicken wrap was also good. The only drawback was that the fries were limp instead of crispy, unlike the onion rings which were fantastic! We will definitely go again. And The Bewitching Moon shop next door was interesting, with cool candles (we bought four!)Kid-friendliness: Kid's menu available.“
“I love this place! I actually had the best hotdog of my life here today. Mustard, chili, & slaw is my classic order wherever I go, but tonight definitely ruled them all — the best I’ve ever had! For sizing/scale I can definitely say that these babies were *thick* and I could only finish one at a time. Delicious! — 10/10!“
“This tiny shop is only open for lunch on weekdays, but it is worth the trip! The best burger in Harrisburg, and maybe ever. Try the Jackson burger at least once, I like mine with pickles.Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian Philly cheesesteak that’s amazing.Parking: Street parking in general area, expect to walk to reach the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: I’d recommend this place for older kids, make sure they know what they want before you get to the front because it gets busy.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible“
“A few weeks ago I tried one of their beers in a bar on my hometown and loved it. I just had to check their actual location. The spot is lovely, wide open, with sitting areas both I side and out, a nice food selection and most importantly-some phenomenal beers. I ended up trying a few, and even taking some canned ones home with me. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly, everyone is in a great mood and I will definitely come back. A note: it’s a bit tricky to find, but it’s worth it!“
“My wife and I stopped in. Never being there before. She had the all-American dog, I had the frito chili cheese dog. Both were amazing, the frito dog had jalapeños on it for spice and actually had a bit of bite to it. I am accustomed to spicy food and was pleasantly surprised by this. The shoe string fries are amazing, it's nice to have a restaurant using them as you don't see them much anymore. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I loved the lunch counter with stools as well, and it had a great atmosphere. Great food at a reasonable price. I will be going back.“
“It has been some time since we stopped by Reeser's--I think we were coming back from a tubing trip--so we were all hot and in good spirits from the days adventures. We saw a sign for ice cream--smashed the brakes and whipped the Honda Pilot into the parking lot. We were thrilled by what we found--the sundaes(?) were creative and I recall lots of fresh fruit. We love walk up ice cream spots like this... will return if we are in the area.“
“Awesome place for breakfast. Very cozy open kitchen style, this ALL-AMERICAN diner is a perfect place for breakfast. Their staff is friendly and attentive. Their food is very tasty, a good variety of breakfast dishes. I had the three-egg omelet which was cooked to perfection.“
“We went there to celebrate my birthday!! Did not know that it was Trivia Night but that was not a problem at all!! Food and service were excellent and prices very reasonable!! Did not "officially" participate in trivia game but had fun at our table playing a guessing game amongst ourselves and were still able to converse!! There were 6 of us and we all were very happy and satisfied with our whole experience!! Is definitely a place where I will go again and not hesitate to recommend to others!!Vegetarian options: 2 vegetarianis in our party - they had no problem with having options on the menu or being able to modify other menu items so they would be suitable for their needs!!Parking: Very large lot in front and plenty of parking along the side!! Not a problem at all - very well lit!!“
“Tldr: I would come again I came on a karaoke night on a Thursday. The food itself was pretty great. HUGE portion on the Poultrygeist and would definitely recommend the beer cheese. Songs were a mix of mostly rock/hard rock, country, and other genres. Very unique atmosphere and amazing service. Close on the rating but I would give a 5/5 for great food, amazing service, and a unique dive bar atmosphere.“
“I've been coming to the Pickle Nickel since 2016 when I started a summer job back in college. The burgers and shakes are amazing! The staff is always friendly and it's such a unique dining experience.Since college I've moved to the area, and I'm so excited to be able to eat here more often! I only wish they were open more during the week, but that's just wishful, hungry thinking!“
“Pizza Grille Camp Hill: A Haven of Accessibility and CuisineMy recent visit to Pizza Grille in Camp Hill, PA, was an experience I just have to share! This place is a true testament to how a local eatery can excel in both accessibility and cuisine, making it a must-visit for anyone in the area. From the get-go, Pizza Grille impressed with its thoughtfully designed parking area, making it super easy for us to navigate and park, especially important as we use motorized wheelchairs. The accessible aisles, restrooms, and seating arrangements inside the restaurant made our dining experience smooth and comfortable, which isn't always a given when we're out and about. But let's talk about the food because, oh, was it a treat! The penne pasta dish my husband chose was a hearty ensemble of marinara sauce, turkey sausage, and peppers, perfectly accompanied by pizza bread. I, on the other hand, opted for something a bit lighter but equally tantalizing - a blueberry and sunflower seed salad dressed in an irresistible Sriracha champagne dressing. It was the kind of dressing you'd want to bottle up and take home! And we couldn't resist topping off our meal with a smoked mozzarella and mushroom pizza for later, which was every bit as delicious as it sounds. What really set our experience apart, though, were the personal touches. The staff went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable, from opening doors for us to capturing our special Valentine's lunch with a photo. It's these gestures that transform a meal into a memory. In sharing this, I hope to not only spotlight Pizza Grille's commitment to accessible dining but also to encourage other local businesses to follow in their footsteps. It's places like these that make our community more inclusive and enjoyable for everyone. Hats off to Pizza Grille for leading by example and for the fantastic meal!Wheelchair accessibility: Pizza Grille Camp Hill: A Haven of Accessibility and CuisineMy recent visit to Pizza Grille in Camp Hill, PA, was an experience I just have to share! “My son's review is that their food is "bussin". From what he tells me that means it's really good and tastes great!Kid-friendliness: They treat kids like people, and listen patiently for them to give their orders. Plus they had cartoons playing on a TV.“
“I got the pull pork sandwich and my daughter got the ribs and sweet potato fries. The fries have brown sugar on them for a sweet twist and I got the baked beans. They taste like they are cooked in a mustard bbq sauce making it sweet and tangy.Great atmosphere and we played the snes while waiting for our food. My sandwich was stellar, will recommend trying it with your favorite bbq sauce.“
“We arrived late in Harrisburg and wanted some grub. Let me just say it sure was worth every cent we spent there on food. Wonderful, friendly staff. If you are ever in Harrisburg, PA go visit this place. You will not be disappointed. Thanks for such a great dinner.Parking: Plenty of parking available.Kid-friendliness: We had our grandson with us and it was delightful.“
“This is a very nice restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming and elegant. We were there the last week of November, and they had lovey decorations up. Our meals there have been hit and miss. Their specials are usually good, but they tend to overcook the beef items. Their sides are very good, but the choices tend to be limited. I would recommend dining here.“
“I’ve been eating at this restaurant since they were downtown Harrisburg, on 3rd st. Their service and their food hasn’t changed and has always been excellent. Isabella was our waitress today and accommodated us in every way possible. Always top notch food and service. Highly recommendWheelchair accessibility: I recently had surgery on my foot, and I’m using a wheelchair, they accommodated me by asking me how I would like the table chairs to be placed. This is very nice and kind. Thank you!“
“The staff are friendly and seem like they're enjoying themselves, which is something you dont always see! Food was delicious as always. This isn't a place I go to regularly, since it is a bit pricey for a burger place, but when Im in the mood, the crispy fries and a thick shake really hit the spot. I haven't had a sub from here yet, but I've heard good things.Plus, I always have fun doodling something for the cork board while I wait. Having note cards and crayons is a great little gimmick.Dietary restrictions: Peanut oil is the main frying oil, and they sell peanuts in bulk in the building. If you have a peanut allergy, sadly, this place can not accommodate.“
“Nice old school from the past restaurant and bar with a classic car atmosphere...small but very comfortable bar and great old school classic car decor in dining area...nice outdoor seating for warm weather...food is good with specials...this would also be a great bike destination..“
“Mad Moose is a wonderful neighborhood tavern where they serve great pub fare-with Pool Tables-Dart Games-Arcade Games-Golf Games. Menu has a variety of delicious starters, salads, brick oven pizzas, hand heads, entrees and a couple of desserts. Servers Sara & Amanda take very good care of you-bringing Drinks from the bar - Variety of beer and liquor. Do go relax and enjoy. This crew at the Mad Moose run a smooth and comfortable Tavern.“
“The owner Mindy, is such a sweet person. All of her employees are also very kind, sweet, & excellent workers. I'd recommend this Dairy Queen to be the best one in the central Pennsylvania area. Thanks Mindy for your AWESOME Customer Service 🥰♥️🥰“
“A very nice place to go for a sweet treat. They’re always quick with orders, friendly at the windows, and they seldom make errors. Personally, I just adore their blizzards (they chop up the chunks juuuust right!), but I'm sure the other items are just as good.“
“Stopped here for a quick bite on the way to Lancaster and the line was almost out the door. Decided to try it on the way back home. Was very happy that we did. Both my son and I had the large beef sandwich. Delicious and loaded with shaved beef. I cannot imagine the size of the "monster" beef sandwich! Prompt and courteous service. Clean interior and clean restrooms. Convenient parking. Will certainly return and recommend. Just a short hop off the interstate.“
“The food was great. The fries were perfectly crispy, the cheese steak was served nicely, the flavor delicious and the bun was toasted just right. I’ll be back again for sure. The people working are good people and they give quality service.“
“Giovanni's is our go to for nights we eat out. I am really picky when it comes to pizza, and Giovanni's has their recipie right!Besides the pizza, their salads are huge and always fresh. My husband I made it a goal to try other things off of the menu when we order without the kids, and we have yet to find an item on their menu we don't like. Also, I invite you to try their wonderful pastries and desserts. I love their baklava! The staff is always wonderful and pleasant.Keep up the awesome work! Thanks for an awesome experience, everytime!“
“Some of the best corn beef that I have ever had I’m just gonna say I had my food for takeout and the presentation of the way they put the food in my carry container. I was completely blown away. I don’t think the last time I ever had mashed peas, when I was a child, but just the way it was presented the potatoes, the peas, the sauerkraut just the way it was placed on the foil, blew me away and not being an Irish pub food was banging“
“The restaurant was not busy at all, the prices were great, and when we got the food it looked amazing. It tasted even better than it looked! I never finish a whole burger, but here I did, and their milkshakes were great! For a burger, definitely better than most fast food or restaurant burgers I've had. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean, quiet, and very cute.“
“Nice golf course restaurant. We were there on a rainy day so did not get to enjoy the views of the course. Food was good. The French onion soup was flavorful with no shortage of onions. The wings were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. They have 3 kinds of fries. You choose from traditional, crinkle or waffle. The Thanksgiving sandwich was good as well. Service was fast and friendly.“
“This Dairy Queen although it called Grill & Chill they only offer Hot dogs as fast as food goes. No French fries, chicken strips or anything like that. But the staff is pleasant and service is usually quick. This Dairy Queen gets very busy. They do have eat in or you can go to the drive thru. You can also sit outside there is limited seating outside but it is available. The orders were accurate as well. I believe they also offer curbside pickup.Parking: They have a nice size parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly!Wheelchair accessibility: There is limited handicap parking and the restaurant is handicap accessible.“
“My honey and I ate here for the first time on February 17. I can’t say enough good things!!! The food was fabulous - from the cream of crab soup, the crab cake, the filet - everything was outstanding. It was - hands down - the best crab cake I’ve ever had in my life! Our server, Darlene, was also absolutely phenomenal. She was so very kind and attentive - and thoroughly knowledgeable about the menu and all of the restaurant’s offerings. She was sure to make sure we knew all of our options, and pointed out all aspects to make our meal completely satisfying. We enjoyed our experience very much, and would recommend the Hillside Cafe to anyone looking for a fabulous meal!“
“you get great family like service from the owners to the staff. the food is excellent from the fresh bread on the cheeseburger sub to the steaks. the home made soups are to die for. when i get off work as a cook i am not usually hungry but when i decide to eat there my stomach is rumbling knowing how great the food is.“
“I just want to say how amazing our experience was today! We were promptly greeted and assisted by Maddie! She showed great enthusiasm and had an awesome personality! She was very helpful when answering my questions regarding the menu! The food was fresh, delicious and the customer service we received will certainly have us returning to this location in the future!“
“I just want to say that the team here is outstanding. Today I witnessed an older woman who had finished her dessert of choice have issues walking out to her car. A DQ employee named Hailey quickly jumped up to assist the older woman down the ramp and then I’m not sure who the man was but he helped lift her through the parking lot to her vehicle. It was so nice to see. It also was a busy time in the day. Keep it up you guys!“
“Their falafel wrap slaps! I ordered it three times in one week. It fills the void left by 2nd Street Shawarma. Make it a meal with onion rings. You won't be disappointed. I'd give it more than five stars if I could!Vegetarian options: Their falafel wrap is vegetarian.“
“Great local bar and restaurant. Visited for first time and was impressed all the way. Food came out very quickly and was fresh. Wings were excellent perfectly sauced. Got the wing bowl over fries and it was a great value. Drinks are cold and everything was reasonable priced.Vegetarian options: They have wingsDietary restrictions: check the menuParking: Lots of parkingKid-friendliness: Plenty of room for quiet kids“
“The food they serve is much better than fast food. The prices are reasonable. It less expensive than Mc Donalds and my stomach doesn't talk to me afterwards. When I eat at McDonald's my stomach is always upset. DQ has real meat. The burgers are good. They have a $5 lunch special that even has an ice cream treat included with it. The ice cream treats are the best. I love the cotton candy blizzard. My husband loves the banana splits. Stop in for good food and great ice cream treats!“
“Maybe it was because I was so hungry from a day of travel but I SWEAR this place has some of the best taco burria con consume I've ever had. The meat was flavorful and tender and with the consumer it was absolutely decadent. The service was timely and friendly and the portions were great! I find some of the local burria tacos too small to feel like a full meal but these were deliciously filling and a good size still! I also took a carne asada torta to share with my boyfriend later and it was delicious!!“
“It takes time to get your stuff, however, the staff are friendly and helpful and keep you updated. Plus the food was really hot, which I like. The steak was a little overcooked. I asked for medium-well which should be pink but came out well done.“
“Overall, the store is great. I do have two complaints, however: 1. They should bring back the salad bar. Saladworks is nice, but I would prefer to pay $6.99 (or even $7.99) a pound to make my own salad, rather than paying $10.49 for a salad at Saladworks that includes lettuce plus 5 toppings, then if you want to add an extra topping, like sunflower seeds, you get charged for the most expensive topping you've selected (which is usually the protein). Also, I've encountered many issues with Saladworks where they have messed up my order - including one time where they did not include my protein. (I usually do mobile orders so I can run in and pick it up, but now I know to check my order before leaving.) If this Giant were to bring back the salad bar, I think they should do away with the various pre-made salads and deserts on the salad bar. I never saw anyone taking any of that stuff and it drives up the price of the salad bar. If any customers want those things, they can go buy them at the deli counter. 2. "Sushi Wednesday" has been a joke recently. Today when I visited the store, there were literally two packages of sushi marked as "Sushi Special" in the display case. The display case was practically full of other sushi (not on sale), by the way. I really feel like their Sushi Wednesday has been used as a bait & switch lately. You go into the store expecting to buy some sushi that's on sale, but you get there and they don't have anything or at least nothing except a Veggie Roll or a basic California Roll. Then, you have been thinking about sushi on your way there, so you have to buy one of their full price ($12.99+) rolls to satisfy your craving. Of course you don't HAVE to... but it sure feels like the old bait & switch gimmick to me.“
“5 Stars, I took my neighbor to harrisburg cause she has to spend down her funds to continue receiving services from "office of aging" office so I took her to furniture stores around the Harrisburg PA area since we live in Mifflin County, PA 70 miles away and there is nothing there, can't wait to move out of this state this year anyways, what really grind my gears we my neighbor went to pay for Large Fries and a Coke Cola for $8 dollar total she realizes his Son has his credit card and playing the holding hostage money games luckily she had a $20 in her wallet, but unfortunately it made me flip out and am like "Here We Go" with this guy that the second instance of his nonsense that ruin my evening day and I was prior having a good time before the Xfinity store mess his name on the bill yet my neighbor mother is paying for the services and can't find out what's in the bill cause the employee can't disclosed it to us she was doing her job nothing against the Xfinity employee , this is his Son yet again messing everything up....“
“My husband and I love going here. Cheeseburgers are always amazing. We have never had an issue with service. It is always a great time. This last time we went, I saw they had some different options on their menu. I decided to try the Tsumani shrimp. It was amazing, served with garlic broccoli as a side. You do get a second side, which for me I think the shrimp and broccoli is the perfect amount. The shrimp have a slight spice to them, but they are not overly hot.“
“We had a Local Flavor so we decided to check this place out. First, the decor isn't much to look at. We were seated and greeted by the owner. What a nice guy! He and his wife (or girlfriend, not sure) took such great care of us! To start, we had the Brazilian lemon-limeade. It was so good! It's not too sweet and it was very refreshing. You get a choice of chicken or beef soup with your meal. We both chose the beef soup and it was truly outstanding with big chunks of beef. I'd order a quart of that. It's not a Brazilian steak house like you imagine. The meal is broken down into courses that are sliced and served to you. The steak selections were very good. The only complaint I had about the steak was that the NY strip portion was very fatty. The fish selection that day was also very good. I am not sure if you can order more of any particular selection because I was stuffed by the time we got to the end. Be forewarned, the portions look small but they add up quick! I had mashed potatoes as a side and enjoyed the fact they were rustic, with nice chunks of potato and served with bacon and cheese. I think the thing I appreciated most was the owners approaching us after the meal and asking for feedback on how they could make the experience better. Great job! They are BYOB. They ARE OPEN on Saturdays so if Yelp still has them as closed on Saturday, it's wrong. We will definitely be back!“
“The food was amazing and exceeded my expectations. For breakfast, I especially recommend the omelets. The service, staff, and atmosphere were all 10/10. Food was cooked quickly and the staff were super nice. If you're in the area, please visit this place, I promise you, you won't regret it.“
“THIS PLACE IS UNDER-RATED. THE HAWAIN SALMON HAS A SLICE OF PINEAPPLE WITH CABBAGE AND BAR B Q SAUCE AND IS EXCELLENT.WHY KEEP EATING PIZZA AND MCDONALDS WHEN YOU CAN GET WAY BETTER QUALITY HILAL FOOD HERE.TRY IT YOU WONT REGRET THAT.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes accessible to handicap“
“Definitely a wonderful place to eat. The food is good which is expected but they do it just right here! Never to much or to little of something and the staff are friendly and warm! I made it part of my daily routine to come eat and have coffee here at some point throughout the day.“
