Food was awful, got vegetable fried rice but the vegetables weren't cooked, egg rolls were over fried and tough, and the tofu was hardly cooked, best part of our meal was the white rice, will not be ordering from here

I don't like Chinese food but my wife and kids loves food from this establishment I know for sure she will have me run out and get more food from them.

All Chinese food places are the same, right? Wrong! This place has the best pork buns in PA. Never tried pork buns you say? These little buns are puffy steamed dough with a bbq pork dumplings on the inside. Dip the bun in your favorite sauce and then sink your teeth into a satisfying tasty texture.

Best Chinese on the West Shore! Food is always fresh. Friendly staff.

pretty good food. but they can't get the orders right. It's tough with limited language skills, but even when they get the order right, the wrong food is in the bag. Can't really open up egg fu yung to see that they stuck shrimp in when you ordered pork. they are 0-2 in the last two orders. we will look elsewhere.

Best Chinese food! Been going there 20 or more years. Always fresh and made the same. Tried a few others, they don't compare. Thankyou Ho Wah!

I love this restaurant and have been visiting it with my family since my childhood.

Ho Wah is more authentic and home style than most Chinese restaurants. And, the food is healthier than most. If you order a dish with protein or vegetables, you get a bunch. And, when they reopen table service, that’s excellent too. It’s not the fanciest or the fastest (although it’s pretty quick), but it’s the real thing.

Chinese food is great. Love that they give you a friend shrimp with your meal ☺️. It's a unique nice touch. The service is also very nice.

Seemed dirty and run down. The food was great one day and horrid the next. But their wonton soup is always good.

I ordered beef and scallops and only got 2 scallops then they wanted to charge me for hot sauce condiment. This place sucks and I will not return ever.

My family (including three kids and now their own families) have been dealing with Ho Wah for over 30 years. Never a problem. Food is better than excellent. Never had to wait, either, when I showed up at the time given. Frankly, I have no desire to go to any other Chinese or Oriental restaurant at all. I hope these good folks are around for a long time...

Pretty fantastic. There are many places to get takeout Kung Pao Chicken, but rarely does one find it prepared with such care and perfection. Yes, it takes them 15-20 minutes to make it—maybe slightly longer if it is a peak time, as other reviewers have commented. But, that’s because they take their time to really prepare it! Call ahead to get takeout, and you’ll be happy you did!!

First time trying and the last time we will eat there. Got the Sweet and sour Chicken and the chicken was way over cooked to hard and dry to eat. Also got the General tso Xtra Xtra spicy once again chicken was overcooked and dry and not spicy at all. Ordered the fried wontons for an appetizer when I got home here they put the red sauce on for you instead of you dipping it. It was soft and mushy couldn't eat that as well. The rice was either overcooked or was made earlier in the day and just sat there as it was very clumpy and mushy also. The egg roll the gave me was over cooked as well barely any filling. Also try changing your oil in the fyers everyday. Worst Chinese food I have ever had.
