I would highly recommend this business. Best coffee I've ever had, and I've had a lot! I received a variety Gift box for Christmas and enjoyed each one. My favorite is the Monk's Blend. Easy to order on line and not far from home so I picked up, but they do ship. Excellent customer service.

I love a good cup of coffee, and it's best when it's freshly ground. I was excited when Central PA finally got a coffee roaster! I enjoy the darker roasts and am working on finding a favorite, though with their blends it's hard to decide on one! This is now my daily morning coffee.

We recently purchased a grind and brew coffee maker with the intention to brew fresh ground coffee beans...the problem we ran in to was there wasn’t any good coffee roasters in the area. That is, until we heard about this place. We drink coffee every day and prefer a more bold and flavorful coffee and Lonely Monk was perfect and hit the spot. We’ve been ordering from them every week and trying a new flavor each time. They even delivered the coffee directly to the house! I have been drinking coffee for over 30 years and THIS is the best coffee I have ever had, certainly the best I've ever made myself. I've tried several of their blends and even some single origin and there's been nothing I wouldn't buy again. It makes it so hard to decide and want to hoard up but it's truly best to buy what I need for 2 weeks and then get more. Subscription is the way to go!! And if you get a chance to do a tasting with them you will learn more than you could imagine about the roasting process, the brewing process and even the origins.

As a world traveler, I have had some great coffees in my life. My favorite of all being 100% Kona while in Maui, Hawaii. I swore I’d never have another coffee as smooth, flavorful and amazing as that. Well, the day has come! The Lonely Monk (Monk’s Blend) took me to a very special place this morning. I took one sip, closed my eyes and was transported back to Maui. It was just as smooth, flavorful and amazing. No burnt taste, bitterness or harsh aftertaste. No need to put any cream (or sugar I’d you’re into that). If you are coffee lover, I highly recommend The Lonely Monk Coffees. The coffee is high quality, the roaster is incredibly knowledgeable and the owners are great people with a great mission. Cheers!

Let’s talk about coffee for a minute. I love coffee. Hot coffee not this iced coffee stuff. The real thing, year-round. I take a thermal mug of hot coffee to the pool every time we go. I have never had a cup of coffee that either didn’t taste burnt, didn’t have that acidic aftertaste, or a combination of both. Because of that I always use some sort of cream, whether half-and-half or milk. I cannot drink black coffee...UNTIL NOW. Last night, I had the best cup of coffee I have ever had the privilege to drink. With no cream or milk. I took a sip waiting for that burnt taste to hit my tongue - it never did. Then, after I swallowed I waited for the aftertaste - it never came. I tried it again this morning just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. Same result. In the past, I’ve never used the recommended coffee grounds to water ratio because it tastes watered down. With these beans, I used the recommended 1 tablespoon of coffee grounds for a 6 oz cup and it was perfect. Try Lonely Monk Coffee Beans. You will not regret it.
