I contacted Rubbin' Meats BBQ to inquire about catering my son's 1st birthday party. I was overwhelmed with all the party planning and decided last minute I didn't want to do the food myself. I contacted Kevin with short notice, and he was so kind and understanding! I can't say it enough - They are the BEST!!!!!Kevin truly cared about making great food for the party and he came through - the meats, sauces, rolls, coleslaw - everything was perfect! They are now my go-to caterer for big family events & parties. 100000/10 recommend.

Skimpy, mislabeled, and dry. I got the chicken platter with collard greens. Actually, though you couldn't tell from the menu, the platter is just the sandwich but instead of chips it comes with a small side and a drink. The sandwich, which I got with Carolina sauce, was still dry and had way more bread than bbq. The collards had good flavor. Overall, I was disappointed with the quantity and the quality. I've heard the Mac and cheese bowl is way more food but similarly mediocre. Don't think I'd go here again. If I did, it definitely wouldn't be for a "platter"

Quality food made here! Ate here today with my son. I got the brisket cheese steak and it was awesome, so much flavor & meat. With a side of coleslaw that was much better than I expected. My son got the Mac n cheese that was super delicious. Definitely will be going back!

First off customer service was great with a warm greeting and the offer to try the meats available. The brisket was my top choice out of the chicken and pork so I went with that protein on the loaded fries. And man were these loaded and weighed a ton. The toppings on the fries were complimentary to the brisket and fry base. Overall a good experience and good food.

Harrisburg isn't exactly a Mecca of great barbecue, but this is about as good as you'll get in this area. Brisket sandwich was nice and juicy. Pulled chicken was good, too. I love the idea of the "lunch boxes" that they do. Only downside was that the sides were a little on the bland side.

Fiancé ordered here from door dash. There wasn’t a ton of flavor but it wasn’t bad. I believe there are better options out there. Bbq sauce was watered down, pulled pork was dry and had virtually no seasoning on it. I originally had 3 stars and a mild review but edited it to 2 stars for the rude comment
