Used to be the best in town. Since Covid, the food quality has gone down hill. Unsure if they lost their original cooks but it's definitely not the same. Prices are very high but that's everywhere nowadays when it comes to Chinese food.

We recently tried Hong Kong pearl takeout and everything we ordered was delicious! Chicken and broccoli is the best in the area. General Tao’s was a bit sweeter than we’re used to? But the chicken was crispy and good quality. Boneless spare ribs were an excellent appetizer, as were the fried wontons. There’s MSG in the food but you can request no MSG per their menu.

Food is always constantly delicious. Only reason for 3 stars on atmosphere is they have no table ser ice at this time. When they do I will go and enjoy myself. That said it's always worth the drive for pickup.
Great vibes, great chicken fried rice. If you're a cairn student and you don't wanna eat that MAC chicken stuff on a tuesday night, bring all your friends down to Hong Kong Pearl and enjoy the

There is no service you order at the counter and once ready you can bring it to a table. It is packed to go already. The food was okay. Make sure to tell them to use gluten free products if you are allergic to wheat. Asking if wheat is in the products was not understood as needing wheat-free/gluten free soy sauce, etc.

Crab Rangoon was the only thing in a $35 order that was decent. My fried rice had a burnt taste. I gave them several chances to redeem themselves but they really have mediocre food that is not worth the extra wait as their time management is poor.I think they are making an attempt to remodel but to little to late.

I order shrimp and broccoli. The shrimp was mushy (over cooked) they use to be the best in class. Not any more. Second time we got bad food. We are done!!
