the atmosphere is incredible, the food is great, the owners do not follow the staff, the barman is unbearable and extremely unpleasant blonde woman, constantly creates conflict for unknown reasons. I ask the owners or administrators to pay attention to this.

There is only one issue for me, and that is that it is a smoking bar.Their food is exceptional for a local tavern.I play 8-ball for a local league (Robert Morris) and used to be on the league at Vernon's Tavern, which was the name of this bar over 20 years ago.There are perhaps 6 pool tables here, and I know the league I was on won ? the year I was with them. Good players come out of this place.I was impressed at how well the service was on my first visit in many, many years.Get the smoking out, and the food and experience would be much greater.

went here about a month ago and had a very weird experience.i went there to support my brother in his pool game for his team me and my girlfriend decided to get some food and drinks. one of the bar lady came up to me, my brother and my girlfriend and asked us for ID she look at all of us 3 times and said okay ( very suspiciously). so we go on and sit down than a manager very rudely comes up to our booth and says we have verify your id. when we asked why what is the problem, she says i just need to see, as she continues to see she says to me and my brother that we have duplicates and that she needs to see another form. we didn't understand why when should could've just grab our id and scan it. all I'm saying is if you're a young man/woman bring your birth certificate as another form of id.

Not impressed at all. Feels like a fight waiting to happen and now they are letting Wheels of Soul wear their cuts in the bar!? Beginning of the end for that place. Look elsewhere for a good time.

Terrible experience here I visited here last night with my friend and it was the worst! 1st off he ordered wings and they gave him all drums and then the bartender ( guy with beard and tattoos) had the nerve to laugh at it like it was funny so not cool. And then on top of it they opened two different tabs for us just bad vibes all over! Do yourself a favor and try a different place I’ll never go back again! Lucky if I don’t hit them with a discrimination lawsuit because as we were leaving they brought at two plates with flats on them and I have video of the entire experience definitely discrimination goin on here!

...perhaps more stars if I knew the place now. I see this business has (again) been replaced by "The Stadium" now. I worked & Captained a pool team there when it was "Vernon's". Vernon himself was a great old guy! (Original owner) Some of you may have known him (& Patti & Lenny), & the acts they booked back then (...like the Hooters as they started).Vernon told me of his startup there was more of a "steelman's" place that catered to the mill crowd, wife Sue used to cook & run the kitchen while Vernon tended the bar. (...if you don't know what "the mill" was, you're not a true Levittowner. I grew up 2 blocks behind the place, never knew it as anything other than the infamous "Vernon's Tavern".)It's been maybe 35+yrs since I was last there & 10yrs way outta the area now.I realize this isn't much help rating THIS place, a bit of history instead...& from what I'm reading now, a FAR CRY from what it sounds like it's degraded too. Even the photos of the place are a disappointment compared to it's origins. Vernon I'm sure is ROLLING in his grave!
