I won't be going back.The first thing I noticed about this place was the dirty floor. One of my rules is that if a restaurant can't keep the public areas clean, then just imagine what is happening in the kitchen.In addition, the wallpaper is peeling off the walls.Otherwise, the dining room is as you expect.This in and of itself isn't terrible, it just kicks this place down to "hole in the wall" status, and hole in the wall places can be some really terrific experiences.Unfortunately, this wasn't.The food was "pretty good". My wife and I both got the hibachi steak and it was ok.We got adventurous with the sushi and ordered the east meat west roll that comes with steak on top.Not a fan at all. But it came as described. I just didn't realize it was raw steak on top of the roll.Our server was the worst part though. When we saw her, which was very infrequently, she didn't do a good job taking care of us.When I asked her to tell me more about the sushi roll, she directed me to the picture.She never refilled our drinks, and never came back to ask how our food was.For two sushi rolls and two hibachi steak dinners, we paid $76.I don't feel like this experience was worth the money.

Very high quality food. My wife and I eat Japanese food fairly often, and found this place was top notch.Service was good except for a delay getting one of our soups. Water was kept filled.Hibachi steak may have been the best I've ever had. Not over cooked, which can be hard on the small bite sized pieces.

I decided I was in the mood for some delicious Japanese fare so I decided to stop at Fuji steakhouse and I am so glad I made that decision! So, here are some really good things about the menu, it is a huge menu with an amazing assortment of sushi rolls. Obviously they are known for this fresh served sushi! I ordered a fillet mignon with shrimp. It was such a massive amount of food, and the glaze that it was served in, was phenomenal. It was cooked to perfection. Exactly the way I wanted it, the shrimp were plentiful, and a large portion of the fried rice was perfectly prepared. The sides of the soup and salad were so tasty! My server was excellent, she was attentive and super friendly. My food was served, amazingly fast nothing but great things to say about this place. It was packed with people when I went by the first time so I came back a half an hour later, and the crowd had died back a bit, so it is a very popular place!
