I ordered a burger. I didn’t want one of the fancy ones they had on the menu with bacon, so they made one plainer the way I wanted it. It was a few dollars more, but it was the best burger I’ve had in years. Also I tried a Chambord Margarita which I’ve never had before. It wasn’t as sweet as I expected, but it was a serious margarita! I sat at the bar rather than a table. All of the staff and owner were really nice and I felt very comfortable eating out by myself. I am just passing through the area in my travels, but if I am ever back in the area this is the place I would come to eat.

It was our first time there this past weekend. We had great service and amazing food. The atmosphere is very laid back and inviting. It is well worth the trip to Lock Haven to try it out. You won't be sorry you did. We will definitely be back.

Tiny restaurant and bar but our waitress was awesome and food delicious. Definitely get as an appetizer the herbed goat cheese and honey with toasted focaccia, that was just soooo good! Street parking.Parking: You may have to walk off you cannot find street parking close-byWheelchair accessibility: Front Entrance would be quite awkward for a wheelchair, perhaps unworkable. I'd call ahead to talk to staff about alternative entrance.

Local watering hole,Cocktails are great, staff remembers your name, food is pretty good.Tends to be fairly crowded with large tables taking the majority of space which takes away from the experience since it's a small space. Good problem to have I suppose.Vegetarian options: Veggie tacos are better than meat options.Dietary restrictions: They do their best to cater to your needs.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is available.

Wow, what a gem!!My husband and I happened to be in Lock Haven at dinner time and decided to eat here. It was an all-around incredible experience! The place is small so we were pleasantly surprised to get a table without a reservation. The waitress, Jossy, did a fantastic job. She was efficient and friendly, somehow taking care of every table simultaneously! Her sister bartended and they had such a cool ebb and flow to how they worked together.As for the food…10/10! My husband and I both got a sandwich and fries. My sandwich was the crab cake, and it was super tasty! I took the tomato off the best I could (not their fault…not a great time of year for tomatoes.) I would get it again and have the tomato on the side just in case.We loved the Old Bay fries! Worth the upgrade. Definitely hoping to make a trip to Lock Haven again for round two!
Outstanding service.I have to admit, I have a crush on the bartender who served me. Her intimate knowledge of whiskey drinks impressed me. Her concern with my food order was impressive.I had the venison special. It was excellent, albeit not cooked perfectly to order. She made it right even though I had no real complaint with the quality. The sides were outstanding: broccoli and asparagus cook to perfection, also seasoned perfectly. The venison, although farmed, is of excellent quality and flavor; perfectly aged with and the pepper and mushroom compound butter makes the dish spectacular.I'll be going back whenever I visit Lock Haven. Mostly for the great food and service, but also for that one super smart and incredibly cute bartender. I have a weakness, and this is it.
