9.00 for a hungryman sub. Extra Large...was only like 10 inches long and it wasn't fresh made..a feeling of disappointment...I would not recommend this place..

Ordered five subs with no mayonnaise. Every sub was soggy. Got 2 real Italian subs. Made completely different from each other one had some kind of mystery meat on it, it was totally disgusting. This is the second time they were soggy. Needless to say we will not be eating there again.

Drove over an hour and got sandwiches, only to discover upon reaching home, that our order was mixed up with someone else's. Now my hubs has 3 sandwiches to eat, because my daughter and I hate turkey (I ordered ham) and we are disappointedly seeking a lunch alternative.

Simply the best subs in Pennsylvania. Great!

If you are accustomed to New England style farmer's markets, this is very different. Most importantly, this is Trump country. Be prepared to be in proximity of lots of naked faces. There is no enforcement of social distance or masks, and a fair number who support the hoax and resistance approach to Covid-19. I reached out to the market back in March -- but they are just not going to lead on prevention. Too bad.

We wont be returning for quite awhile. I love this place but I can't be comfortable with almost all of of vendors and shoppers not following social distancing nor mask guidelines. I made a mistake coming here today and I regret trusting people to take this health risk seriously. As a nurse, I am sadly distressed by the lack of responsibility shown by all.Good luck

This is a review for the Saturday Flea market only. We gave the new flea market a try after hearing how great Tuesdays are. Just a warning for those who may want to try it out. It was not worth it at all. There were maybe 10 vendors open selling random knickknacks/ yardsale items and 3 food vendors on the side. None of the buildings are open. Stick to Tuesdays

Loved the market. Was surprised it included a flea market as well as vegetables. Nice way to spend a couple hours walking and shopping/looking.

What a gigantic market! Since it's only open on Tuesdays, it can get pretty crowded because Root's has many fun stalls to visit. There were bakeries, deli, tea, vintage items, local produce, and much more. Depending on what you are looking for, you can get something for a great price while supporting the local community! For me, I got fresh fruits, baked goodies, and locally made items. You will definifely find something here for you.

If you haven't been to Roots in PA you are missing out! We had a great time checking out locally grown produce and sweet treats made by the Amish community. Great prices and all set up for social distancing! I can't believe how big it is and there were still almost 200 vendors Missing when we went! A must do on a Tuesday (only day they are open!)

Worst food at Roots. I stopped going there because subs were always soggy . Decided to give them a try again after a few years. Went 3 times 2 out of the 3 subs were wrong. We called the owner to voice our concern. He hung up on us.Will never go there again

I used to think this market was really something in my college days. Last visit it had such a flea-market vibe. Think I'll stick to Sonnewald's.
