What a good spot! Happy to give my money to a nice family business before going to a show. We had such a good time with Jackie and she was so kind to us. We got some fried food (pickles, onion rings, hush puppies and fries) good stuff!

This review is being written on a to be continued basis.Only parking on the street and not much at that.We went out of our way to get here and try one of their ham sandwiches. Got there around 5:30 on a Friday night to find they just sold out of ham. They had a Friday night fish special on the board, but none of that either. We got a couple of beers out of the cooler, no draft. Extra cold and went down quick. Bartender was on the spot and had another beer opened before I could ask.

We were looking for a place to get some food and drinks before a concert at the Roxian. Rudy's was right up the street so we stopped in. The bartender was very friendly, attentive and helpful. We got some cheap beers and an enormous ham sandwich with some french fries. Everything was great! The ceiling was leaking which only added to the already fantastic and grimy Pittsburgh feel and gave everyone some good laughs. I would recommend this to anyone looking for some food or a quick drink before a concert at the Roxian!

Best ham sandwich in the world! Fresh Mancini bread with thick slices of ham. The quality is as though you are getting a Christmas Eve sandwich, from your grandmother’s house, for just $10.

Literally, on the other side of the tracks. we went to Rudy's in search of the famous ham sandwich. Upon entering, we met the owner/bartender, Jackie, a transplant from Cleveland, Ohio. We ordered IC light and two ham sandwiches . The thick stack of ham between two slices of Mancini's bread and a side of homemade horseradish sauce was like hog heaven the day after Easter. Not only was the ham sandwich wonderful, but Jackie and the ambiance was fantastic. Jackie also said she makes a fresh cod with her secret batter, and homemade tarter sauce. The only disadvantage of this must visit bar, is lack of parking. But Rudy's is surly worth the search. Can't wait till our next visit and Jackie 's great stories.

Great little dive in McKees Rocks. You can park across the street even though there are CSX sings that say otherwise (verified with the bartender). Outside patio space as well. Limited menu but tasty.Vegetarian options: Most of the fried appetizers are veg.Kid-friendliness: Chicken fingers!Parking: Side streets and lot across the street against the tracks.Wheelchair accessibility: No handicapped spots directly in front of the property.
Best Friendly Dive bar clise to the Roxian Theatre

The best dive bar EVER! Jackie and Mike are so nice, welcoming and make the best drinks in the world. Have you tried the ham, egg and cheese sandwich? If not? Get in there! Parking located across the street.
