This place majorly blows. They're almost always out of one or more food choices. Today they were out of pizza crusts and at least four or five more items in their cafe. Nobody that was working there just now at about 1:15 on Saturday, 8/26/23, seemed to want to be there.I really feel this is more a management issue to maintain and support their cashiers and working staff then necessarily a dig on the people who work there. But it takes people who want to work, and a manager (or managers), and maybe franchise owners who support their staff to be a good business. And I can guarantee you, this location is not a good business.The cashier went over to the soda fountains to refill something just when I walked up and was standing in line to check out She was gone for 5+ minutes. There was another woman behind the counter who was looking at a computer with her back to the counter. The cashier that left couldn't be bothered to let her know that she was leaving and that there were people waiting in line? I'm sure she could hear the customers talking and waiting in line behind her and she couldn't be bothered to turn around.I've been here before when they're ringing up somebody with dozens of lottery tickets, with one cashier, and you are forced to wait because somebody thinks they're going to strike it rich. That's not the fault of cashiers, but I think the store MANAGER needs a policy that they will only process x number of lottery tickets per transaction. I've also had people cut in line and the cashiers not say anything to them. It might be because the cashiers don't want to end up in a bad way, and I respect that. They're between a rock and a hard place in that situation. Situation. You don't know who might be carrying and have nothing to lose. But still...Also bear in mind that several times I've been here, their credit card processing system has been down recently. So people who pull into their gas station on fumes can't get any gas unless they have cash in hand.The gas prices are good. The food, when they have any, isn't bad. But their service sucks. It's so bad that I'm going to reach out to Speedway corporate, now owned by 7-Eleven, and suggest they revoke the name from I assume is a franchise location.And please feel free to look up my other reviews. I don't down vote merchants who do a good job. But I'm not afraid to downvote places who do a very bad job.

I was STaRVING, and I decided to come to this gas station, I ordered me a Hoagie, or as I call it, A Loginator, it took 2 hours for them to serve it to me, I finally got my sandwich, I took a bite out of it, and not only that I noticed, Pickles, Onion, Peppers, or Mayo, infact, I didn't even see Meat, OR EVEN A BUN, it was a Thicc Log, that was longer / thicker then my shaft, and I'm popping 12 inches. I took a bite out of it, and it was pretty decent. I Give it 5/5

This place is absolutely wonderful! The staff is well trained and helpful. The MTO food is great & made fresh. You can count on the Speedy Cafe team to provide you a great meal! It is a gas station/convenience store, so I don't recommend it for a meal out

This place is the worst store, never have any cafe’ food employees have attitudes, the place is always a mess. Only go here to get fuel.. past that the other stores have a lot more options.., place is a joke

I ordered a hoagie. I did not order pickles, or olives or banana peppers. This hoagie taste like s**** I ordered tator tots with cheese. They did not add cheese!!! These three women are complete f****** idiots!!!!!!!!! I just noticed the staff is not wearing mask

This lady Cathy who works here just seriously hipped me out of my drink trying to get me to over pay. Luckily I'm a loyal customer as I travel for a living and have done this transaction many times and had the points to cover for it. Continued than to try to deny my combo for its regular drink it came with. This lady has no clue what she's doing. But instead of raising a ruckus with this Karen I just chose to wave her off. She then chose to follow me around like I was up to no good. It's 2020 and it's a shame how old white ladies treat a person of a different shade. This definitely reflects bad on this establishment. Especially a place I visit daily. Also she chose to ignore me as I tried to tell her the drink I wanted was out so I had to grab yet another alternate choice.

I was anxiously awaiting the opening of this Speedway!! Since I travel across the Mckees Rocks Bridge every day I have been keeping and eye on the construction. The other two gas stations in the area are located at the end of the bridge and its quite a challenge depending upon the time of day to pull in and out. My first visit was a little chaotic just checking out at the register.. lines are not established and there are customers waiting everywhere. It took a little time even though there were a few register's opened. Other than that .. the service was good. I noticed the gas prices are same as the other two competitors near the bridge. I look forward to visiting again... coffee and a scratch off!
