By way of this town for one day. Was referred to this ice cream store by the locals. There were plenty of parking spots. There was a long list in their menu. The cones were nice. The banana splits were in good size. Soda floats made the days over the hot afternoon. Sundaes and parfaits looked great. They also offered more than ten kinds of specials. This was really a gem in the town!

I always get great ice cream when I'm in town and always at the Pit Stop. To Rachel Rae, do you go to Dairy Queen and get disappointed when they only serve soft serve? You should not be a "local food guide" since your opinion seems to be about your preferences and not objective and fair to the hard working business owners who served you food you even said was good. 2 stars? Psha! Shame on you.

Awesome place! This 'Pit Stop' is of high priority when we arrive in town (right after seeing family ?). Owner is SO nice! The serving sizes are BIG, so definitely worth the price!
