Small town gem. During a long weekend we had dinner once and dessert-only once. Host/barkeep/owner was very friendly and chatty, and most of the patrons knew him.

Hey Photobooth

First time trying. For this small town, it was an excellent experience ?. The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cute yet not what I expected. It seems like it was a house turned into a "fancy" restaurant. The prices were more than we expected based on the "cover" of the place. (Diner meets New York prices). The fried haddock seemed kinda small, but other than that, the soup and bread bar was great, the crab stuffed mushrooms were very very good. The maple salmon was tasty, and the desserts looked amazing. We tried the lemon merengue, yum!

We had their French onion soup, a typical house salad and their Chesapeake chicken, which was chicken topped with crab. My wife had chicken which was topped with Parmesan cheese and artichokes and also cole slaw. She said it was a bit sweet but good. Our chicken dishes were cooked perfectly and we enjoyed our meal and the service. (it did take a bit to get seated because of how popular the restaurant is, but not any more than some chain restaurants.) Reservations are recommended, but we did not know that coming into it.

We LOVED this place - our party of four was on day #3 of biking the GAP Trail, and we were tired and hungry. Our B&B hosts suggested this place, and the restaurant owner even offered pick up and drop off service so we didn't need to get back on our bikes. REALLY yummy food specials - mmmmm salmon - cold drinks, a bottomless bread basket, and such incredibly friendly staff. We felt like family. A special place!

This small restaurant is just what a small town needs for just good food. The food is fresh and tasty with a soup, cheese and bread bar as part of the entire meal. This place is always busy, so call ahead to see what the wait time is for that night. We has fish, turkey and stuffing as our entree's and we all enjoyed the bread and soup bar. A wonderful eating experience for a small town.

The owner of Yoder's guest house recommended this restaurant as the best in town and we are glad she did. They have a wide range of meat and fish dinners. Both the salmon and swordfish dinners we ordered were delicious. In addition, every entree order comes with access to the soup , and salad bar with cheeses and fresh breads. I went back 3 times for navy bean soup refills, all for around $25. It's family friendly, has plenty of parking and was safely walkable (1/2 mile) from Yoders Guesthouse.

I own a B&B (Yoder's Guest House) in Meyersdale and Regularly send our guests to the White House for dinner, sometimes as many as 22. I receive nothing but wonderful comments. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. Mike and Beth, thank you for taking such great care of our guests, you guys are an incredible asset to our community.

We were biking the GAP trail and stayed in Meyersdale. When we asked our host where to eat, they suggested this place. We were not disappointed! Good food in good portions. Call ahead and they’ll come by and pick you up or drop you off! Great for bikers who don’t want to hike or bike more.
