We were in town doing some shopping and I remember passing the windmill. I've been passing by this diner/restaurant for most of my life. Growing up in Coatesville, PA this was your halfway point to Birdsboro/Reading area. I finally decided to give it a try. It was ok. The prices were great, and the service was ok. I felt like we were overlooked a few times, but I settled that by deducting from our tip. I'm all for visiting local restaurants so that was my goal this day and I succeeded....read full review
I have been dining on and off at the Windmill Family Restaurant for 20 plus years. I have never had a bad experience with either the food which is served hot or the service which is served with a smile. It's a family run business that caters to travelers and locals. I do not dine at the Windmill for its glitzy dining room or counter as you will not find that ambiance here. But what you will find is a simple menu of many local favorite dishes and desserts at reasonable prices.
