Unbelievably disgusting ice cream and poor customer service to boot. This afternoon I went over to Uncle Daves in Yardley to try their peppermint ice cream sandwiches, I was horribly disappointed with the absolutely vile taste of their mass produced peppermint ice cream (that has a ton of disgusting things in it like corn syrup...) and the disappointing stale taste of their donut that forms the sandwich. None of the ingredients in the package need to be in something that is supposedly homemade and it was truly a waste (and $9 to boot)! Upon my leaving a review of my experience on their instagram, instead of having the customer service team say something along the lines of "hey we're sorry you had a bad experience, come back to us for this event and we'll see that we make it right" (you know...like a human being), they proceeded to remove my comment and BLOCK my account from their page! I would say their customer services matches the quality of their ice cream but I think that the taste of it is , arguably, a little worse. Try deleting this one Uncle Dave's... maybe you try responding instead of blocking accounts of customers who had a poor experience...don't waste your money...

This was a really fun place to visit, it's very family friendly with a nice little playground for the kids. The ice cream was really good. They have unique flavors to try. There was a festival or some kind going on while we were visiting. All in all this was a great experience and I will return to try some more delicious ice cream.

I just love a good homemade ice cream. I drove 30 minutes and couldn’t wait to try the banana chocolate chip. What a disappointment. The banana ice cream wasn’t bad at all, the portion wasn’t bad at all, but don’t tell me it’s banana chocolate chip when the chips are not chocolate, they didn’t melt and I didn’t taste chocolate. They look like chocolate chips, but just stick with just making banana ice cream. And the scooper wasn’t rinsed from the pumpkin ice cream so I tasted it all through my banana fake chocolate chip ice cream.

The apple cider donut ice cream sandwich is massive and delicious!
The whole set up of Shady Brook Farm is adorable. We pulled up and people are having drinks, playing corn hole . . . Amazing! The seating area was lit up blue with ample seats/tables. I ordered the apple cider ice cream sandwich and it's really good! Just be aware you must commit to letting it thaw. This is something you can commute back home with and still have it intact. I ended up breaking the donut in half, packing one half and splitting my half into twos. Those pieces melted easier and I ate them onsite. My half piece made it home all the way back to Jersey City, NJ. The only remark/issue I have is the cashier. When we lined up to order, the cashier was talking to her friends. We were just standing over to the side patiently waiting while the cashier continued talking to her three friends. This went on for about 5 minutes. Someone in the back finally said to the cashier are they ordering. This lead her to have her friends move over, but she still did not take our order. More of her friends came and she started to talk to them as well. Finally after they all left we got two donuts with cash. This took about 30 seconds since their premade/boxed and ready to go. Just very frustrating standing there when staff are having not so small, small talk at work.

This is a review of this ONE product. Uncle Dave’s is amazing!!! Great staff and great ice cream.But this apple cider donut ice cream sandwich…. It was gross. A pre packaged, manufactured, full of gross stuff, cold donut, etc.I’ve been sitting next to this sandwich for 20Minutes and it’s 80 degrees outside. This thing should be melted and it’s not even close to that. The rest of our ice cream is melted. That should tell you something about it. Plus… it’s “best by” date is for 2025 ?Again, everything else about uncle Dave’s is amazing, but don’t waste your money on this overpriced sandwich.
