We celebrated my mom's 70th birthday at The Water's Edge on Friday night. We had appetizers, main entrees, dessert and drinks. Every single bite was delicious! We could not have asked for a better meal! The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was beautiful. Such a special little place. Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely blown away by the food! Probably the best restaurant I’ve visited this far. The food was exceptional. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and the chocolate cake. They sat us right next to the water, which I loved! We had an amazing view of the sky turning pink as the sun set. Our waiter was also very sweet and ensured that we were taken care of.

Love love love. If you are in the Poconos area and would love a scenic waterfront view while dining in, then I highly recommend it. The food portion for the price was well above accommodating, and the food itself was amazing. I'm looking forward to coming back.

We have been here twice now and are even more impressed. Jermey was an amazing host to such an impressive menu. He was delightful to speak with and offered help with the menu. We look forward to our next trip for the 6 course dinner.

My husband and I ventured to The Water's Edge while staying at French Manor Inn because of its exceptional reviews. Our server was very friendly and helpful when we asked questions about the menu and heard his suggestions. Complimentary hummus was served once seated, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered the strawberry-lemon sangria which was absolutely delicious - I was impressed with how many sangria options there are! We shared a special, which was some kind of tuna tartare. For my entrée I had the pan roasted free range chicken breast which came with asparagus. The whole meal was exquisite, especially the sauce. My husband ordered a glass of chardonnay and the lobster pappardelle for his meal. He said it was tasty except there was too much oil. We split the death by chocolate cake which did make us feel like we overdosed on chocolate! Everything tasted delicious and the view and cozy vibes made the meal even more special.

This restaurant is really beautiful with it’s wooden walls, interesting ceilings and big windows. The fireplace makes a cozy and romantic atmosphere - we enjoyed it so much. The food is amazing - how it tastes and how it looks! We had beet salad, raw tuna appetizer, Lobster papardelle and steak. We really love lobster pasta in general, but this one was little heavy, with a lot of butter and heavy cream. Seafood pasta should be light. Still - very tasty and they served whole lobster tale. And THE dessert - Death by chocolate - the best, most creamy and chocolatey dessert in my life!!

It was really good and the ambience is amazing. I had the chefs sampler and paired it with the wine tasting recommendations. Our waitress was incredible. She was so attentive and just all around wonderful.

It was an absolutely wonderful experience, even with the rain. The cabin was quaint and adorable. We were right along the lake and saw a beautiful and serene scene... and we had no clue what to expect in the restaurant, but the food was absolutely amazing, the waitstaff was completely welcoming and the ambience was so romantic and inviting. All of this was for an incredible price...we will definitely be back!

We went for our anniversary and it was wonderful. The atmosphere and workers were great. We had an amazing tuna appetizer that knocked our socks off. Our dinners were very good too and so was our dessert. Highly recommend for a birthday/anniversary/special occasion!

We will definitely be back! Loved the atmosphere, the food and the service! We had the tapas to start and then duck breast for dinner. Then there was the macaron dessert. All were wonderful! We were seated by the fireplace. Very romantic. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars for ambience was the ladies room. It was very clean, but it was COLD and there was a slight septic-y smell to it, as if there was a drainage issue somewhere in the septic system. They should have the septic system checked out and put better heaters in the bathroom.

This place has been a favorite for a while now. Whenever there is a special occasion my Wolfie and I like to celebrate it here. We love to bring family and friends to The Waters Edge. It never fails to amaze. The cocktails are top notch. 5 stars all around.

The interior is cozy, but elevated. The staff was warm and noted the occasion we were celebrating. They gave us choice seating that I requested with the reservation. We enjoyed the Valentine’s Day prefixe 6 course menu. A fine dining experience with some unique dishes. Very elevated and high-quality. I am looking forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy a chefs tasting or a cocktail hour by the water. Thank you for the wonderful service.
