“New Fern was excellent. The fried haddock was perfect. My wife had the seafood broil. Their Mac and cheese side is creamy, cheesy, deliciousness. Everything was outstanding. We were accepted on a Friday night without a reservation, but I do not recommend that on weekends. Call ahead to reserve a table. They filled up quickly after we were seated, and I overheard others without reservations being turned away, politely. I am so grateful they fit us in on such a busy night. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about their offerings. We will be going back soon to try some other entries that sounded great. We did not have dessert but saw a bunch go by us. Omg! The slices of cake are huge, and I could smell the lovely aroma as they went by. I think one was an espresso cake. Man, did it smell good! This was unexpected for Muncy PA. This small town really has some good places to eat. New Fern is now in my top 2 in town.“
“We only ate at the restaurant. Appetizers are small portions for the price. Shrimp rolls were pretty good and the mozzarella sticks went quickly. I'm told the steaks are amazing, 14-oz only. Come hungry or share! Crab cakes were surprisingly good. Not too salty and plenty of crab meat.“
“Bright, clean, friendly staff and quality food who could ask for anything more! I had the Riss's Regular and it was loaded with fresh meat. One of the best subs or hoagies (depending where you're from) I've had. Great little spot I will definitely come back to when I'm back in the area!“
“Best subs in the area, bar none. May seem a little bit pricey until you remember what it costs to eat at McDonald's or Burger King. They use Boars Head meats and have an absolutely phenomenal lineup. My personal favorite is Bigfoot Goes to France, a roast beef sub that just soaks your taste buds with flavor.Go get a fantastic sub from here. You aren't likely to be sorry.“
