“Yamatos in New Castle, right next to the liquor store next to Walmart, is excellent. Yamatos food is fresh tasting, and deliciously seasoned. I’ve had the sushi. That’s good. But the bento box lunches are perfect for a nice lunch.And for dinner, the wife and I really like the combination dinners. Steak or filet with shrimp or scallops. And really outstanding in its own way, the fried rice that comes with the dinner. And soup and that great salad with the ubiquitous orange dressing. Wife loves that. Me too. And they have cooked the meat perfectly every time. I like medium rare, wife likes medium. Always perfectly cooked. And in one of my pics, medium rare. Perfect. The fried food on a plate i took a pic of was the rock shrimp. And the tempura batter perfect with the very mildly sweet shrimp.This is one of those places where I have never had anything less than an excellent meal. So completely unlike Chinese food. I love Chinese, but if I want just grilled meat or shrimp and just a perfect meal that doesn’t make me feel bloated this is the place. I leave full, happy, and ready to go back again.“
