This is a review for Ace Cafe breakfast. I have always liked Square One and rate it highly. It has rebranded as Ace Cafe and is now open Saturday and Sunday for breakfast. We went today and it was awful. One of the worst meals out I can remember. The service was slow. The menu was limited and some items on the limited menu were unavailable. The mushrooms were tinned and cold. The eggs were one congealed hard inedible burnt mess. The chef could not cook an egg. We sent it back. The server was pleasant but embarrassed. They should not have opened with such limited menu and inexperienced chef.

Seems this place is actually now called Ace Cafe. The menu and food seem to be the same, but if you pull in and are looking for Square One, you won't find it. The food was great and people were wearing helmets, so that definitely gets an extra star. Try the Chicken Marsala.

I've been a loyal customer for years. Visiting the establishment frequently. Unfortunately, I just heard that Square One will be no more.,!! I don't know what's coming in place of it, but it will be hard to beat what had already been created there.

Poor service, staff was on their phones while we were waiting forever for them to take our orders. Maybe 2 vegetarian options, one of which made me sick the day after. Interesting place, but few redeeming qualities.Vegetarian options: Almost none. Don't get the pasta primavera if you value your health.

I've never been here and not enjoyed the food and drinks. The wings are literally the best in the area! I have always enjoyed everything on the specials menu too. My favorite part of Square One Pub is the LOUD bartender, Meagan! She's the best!!!!!!!

Square One Pub has been our go to spot for over ten years. The food and drinks are awesome. The sense of community is second to none. The bartenders are friendly and always welcoming. Be sure to order a Cosmo or an Expresso Martini, they are great. Save room for their homemade cheese cake. This is the place to go if you are dining with friends or alone. You will feel at home.

Came in today with my girlfriend, got Denise and she was absolutely terrible! I asked for a drink multiple times and did not receive it at all! My food came out wrong twice and she gave me a bad attitude about it! I never ever leave reviews like this I am completely appalled by this!
Don't sleep on this local gem. Really good food, tons of tvs to watch a game. Dining room available if your not into the bar atmosphere. Our go to spot for drinks and a simple meal.Parking: In the Logan Square shopping center.

Absolutely love this place! It is perfect for any occasion! Whether it be a nice quiet date or a fun loud get together! You walk in and are immediately greeted by welcoming staff members. Denise and Megan were fantastic! Denise kept coming back and making sure everything was OK at our table while Megan made sure we were taken care of at the bar! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Thank you! Will definitely be returning!
