My family and I are from Texas and traveling from State College (visiting our daughter who is a student) and o airport in Philadelphia. I started looking for a place to eat on our route and found this restaurant. We weren't sure about it based on the looks of the building but we decided to give it a try. Oh my goodness, we LOVED it! The server was sweet and attentive and the food was delicious! The group had the chicken parm, Speedies, spaghetti, and the southwest chicken panini - all tasted amazing! Food portions are large, so plan to take home leftovers. Our only disappointment is that we live over 1600 miles from this great place!

I tell you what. You would not know this place would exist. It reminds me of a dive bar, but the food is wonderful and the service is top notch. They have a good selection of beers also.

We were in Millerstown for a choral festival, and I've been wanting to try this place out. We drove right by at first because we missed the sign. When we got there, I hesitated because of the outside appearance and wasn't sure if they were kid friendly. So glad we decided to go in! The food was delicious and everyone was so friendly. The dining room is small. We arrived at an off time, so we were ok, but I highly recommend reservations if you are arriving at peak dining times. We ordered lunch items but are planning to return sometime for dinner. All the dinner plates we saw looked so good! Also... don't skip dessert!!

The server, Vanessa, was perfect. She was patient with one particularly particular member of our party. She was engaging without being overly so. The food, all of it, was good; some of it very good to excellent. My filet was cooked perfectly as I requested, my scallops were tender and nicely seasoned. My broccoli was bright green and delicious. Salad leaves were large and fresh—not chopped in brown-edged. My wife’s crab cakes were good, but there were no lumps of crab in it; it was without texture, but it tasted good. Food was fairly priced ( inasmuch as prices go in the world today. Venue a bit difficult to find and access, but, hey, that’s part of the fun in finding a treasure like this.
Makes the best Old Fashioned I have tasted. Food is fantastic! The company is always a pleasure. Many laughs and good times at this place.

A little gem in the middle of Perry County. Excellent tap selection and variety of food. The seafood bisque was outstanding and so were the other dishes we got. Our only "complaint" is some of the entrées can be a bit pricey. That being said, with a higher price comes a higher quality of food. Will definitely be returning!
