So we generally love newtown brew and viewed this as the best spot in town to come with small kids. Had a very weird experience today though.So this is a bit of the “papa bear” in me but whatever. It was packed and a lot of kids running around like crazy everywhere (which we couldn’t care less about). Our kids were no different but were generally staying by our table. We went to get a drink and the bartender with red tips told us “we need to do a better job corralling our kids” exact words lol. I mean 1. They’re not cattle and 2. They were calmest of the bunch but were somehow singled out.Kind of ruined it for us as we thought it was family friendly and we left feeling extremely slighted and picked on. We watched about 10 kids run like crazy and the bartender was all smiles when those kids parents went to get a beer. Just odd idk.

Really nice, clean place, friendly staff and people. Food is delicious!! Our group of friends had Margaritas, which were really good!! You can reserve a room for a private party.

We wanted to try a new brewery over the weekend and this one didn't disappoint! I tried the cranberry orange sour and the gingerbread spiced beer (I think called cotton headed ninny muggins) and enjoyed them both! There is something for everyone. Service was quick and friendly and we found an empty table quickly. Would definitely come back again!

Not from Newtown, but swung by this brewery while visiting my dad. Genuinely cool place. The food truck was on point and the "Haze is strong with this one" IPA was appropriately citrusy and packed just enough ABV (but not too much). I'll definitely be back.

I just hosted an anniversary party here for my parents. The private room was perfect, bartenders/drinks great, and all of my guests were happy!
The owner could care less about children running around during the entertainment. I came here for the singer and it was ruined by the children running around, the owner and parents did nothing. Also the beer is over carbonated not going back. We have many more restaurants and anew brewery coming to Newtown.

Just hosted my husband’s surprise birthday party here and it was phenomenal. The staff is amazing, the beverages are awesome and it’s just all around a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place as it’s by far one of the nicest breweries I have been to!
