We had a great experience. Our server was very sweet and accommodating especially with a toddler. One issue was the high chair was broken (the strap) he is only one so he was slipping out from the bottom but they were able to get us a new one that worked better. All of our food and drinks were delicious only complaint in our group was I guess the yogurt was very sour or unflavored so she didn't care for it but still main courses were good. Where we were sat party of 7 we all had space and didn't feel crowded. It was a nice Mother's Day brunch.

Don't stay home on Mother's Day because you feel the food/service/ambiance is usually wanting. Relic will totally change your mind. We enjoyed brunch at Relic today and from the pleasant greeting upon entering to the very last drop of coffee, we could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone ordered a different dish and each one was prepared perfectly. We have had the pleasure of enjoying dinner at Relic but. this was our first time enjoying brunch here. And we were not disappointed. Made my Mother's Day!
Food and drinks were great. Group had the ribeye and filet. Apps we had tuna tare tare and the burata. They didn't have the tomahawk which was disappointing but it happens. Server was awful.....miserable, unfriendly, slow. I still tipped 20%ish but looking back I shouldn't have. O and the Brussel sprouts were great. Drinks were also very slow. We were there to celebrate but half the night we had empty glasses in front of us. Our second round took about 30 minutes.

My family and I have had the pleasure of dining at the Relic on State Street many times. The only thing that I can say it was always a wonderful experience with the food, service, ambiance and sound level. We always have any Birthdays of Holidays there because of the wonderful ways we have always been treated.

Highly recommended! We celebrated my daughter's graduation, and we had an amazing time. The restaurant's ambiance was perfect. The staff was super attentive and friendly. Food was perfect, but the Tomahawk was out of this world. Everything was perfect, this will be a very memorable night. Special thanks to the management (Stacy), that went on and beyond to makes sure we had a perfect celebration. I will definitely be back!

Felt a bit rushed this time having dinner. Was with a party of 4 and we could tell they were trying to get the table turned over. Had the lobster gnocchi and usually they are great however this time they were extremely soupy.

My wife and I had a date night yesterday and we decided to eat at this restaurant. This location has been several restaurants over the years with Relic being the last for almost 4 years. We both really enjoyed our dinner. I had their Halibut special, after hearing the people at the next table raving about the, and my wife had the scallops. They were both fabulous. The service was very good, except for a minor mistake at dessert time, when our brownie didn't come out until our server went to the kitchen to see what the problem was. She came back and kindly notified us that it was coming out and they were taking it off the bill. This was handled very professionally. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.
Everything was delicious. A great local spot. We got oysters, tuna and burrata. All were top notch quality. My husband got the hanger steak and I had the halibut. Amazing dishes, drinks were on point too. I really Hope this place stays!!!!
In my opinion they have the best food in Newtown. Every single time we go here the food is always fresh and delicious. Never had a sub par meal. And the staff is always super friendly. Great job Relic!
Our waiter Chris was great! He was personable and attentive. The owners were onsite, interactive and attentive to all the patrons which was great to see. Most importantly, the food was wonderful, as well as the cocktails.
