“My husband and I have ordered takeout from here several times, everything we have tried has been amazing. We are happy to have such a great place for breakfast and lunch so close to our house. We have also ordered from their holiday catering menu and it was great.“

“Let me count the ways I love these salads: cole slaw, three-bean, potato, macaroni, beets, cucumber, pickles, and that is just the beginning. There are mouth-watering breakfast and lunch sandwiches like ham, egg and cheese on toast. Coming here makes my day!“

“Fabulous soups; we had Wonton, and Hot and Sour. Nice mustard and Duck Sauce. Delicious Lo Mein, plentiful, could have been a bit spicier and less dry, though every single noodle had sauce on it. Easy to get to, nearby parking, Fast seating.“

“I don’t know why people complain about the food being served. It’s literally a serving size portion that you get that they use with measurement cups which is normal. The food is great and fresh and honestly it was super filling I couldn’t even Finnish it.“

“We had been here before and decided to come for dinner when we noticed the "Under New Management" sign. We both decided to have an adventure in new taste. We were NOT disappointed. The service was top notch from ordering to explaining each sauce and which dish it was for etc. They even gave us tips on how to better enjoy the meal.I had the Broken Rice Ribeye. I wish I had a photo to share but insert Homer drooling gif here. She had the beef vermicelli and ate almost everything. We even tried the short rib Pho. Everything was worth it.Also, try the tea. The Chrysanthemum tea was good, but the Royal Tea hit every taste bud just right.Try it. You'll like it.“

“This place is packed with atmosphere. It has a cozy early American ambiance and a great view of the Delaware river. We were greeted, seated and approached by our server quickly. The service was neither excessively attentive nor inattentive. We certainly did not have to "flag down" anyone to get service. My wife had lobster bisque and the house salad. I had a Caesar salad and the calamari. It's listed as an appetizer but I had it as my entreeThe bisque was rich and creamy with chunks of lobster. An excellent choice. The house salad contained all the listed ingredients but only the apple slices were initially visible as every thing else was under the lettuce. A weak presentation. The Caesar salad was OK, but nothing special. At $8 for a side-sized salad it contribute greatly to the profit margin. Realistically, though, that’s the going rate in most nicer restaurants. The calamari was deep fried, rubbery and contained no arms (tentacles); only slices of the mantle. The arms are the “fillet mignon” of squid and I wish the dish had included them. A traditional style San Marzano Sauce was served along side a garlic aioli for dipping. Both were flavorful.Overall, I give this place a B.“

“I had hoagies from a lot of places throughout Northeast Philly to South Philly and in between. Point is, this is the mecca of Italian Hoagies. Grateful they made their way up to my old neighborhood. The hoagie is stacked with enough meat that a half will probaly fill you up. Quality and quantity is hard to be beat.“

“I truly can’t say enough good things about this place. Food was absolutely fabulous I got two Burgers an order Of onion rings, and an order of fries with cheese on the side. They read the comments that I put on each order of special requests, and not a single thing was missing. Looked like a husband and wife was working there, and although it was late at night, I was shocked they were practically dead. So glad to have found this place and got to enjoy it for the first night in my new home. Got the style sauce on the side because I wasn’t sure if I would like it and it was great. Will absolutely be back!Dietary restrictions: They had so many options for buns including gluten free!“

“Best Oxtail and rice and peas that i've ever had. Even the mac and cheese is baked and delicious which is rare coming from a caribbean restaurant. whoever is back there cooking went to a very good culinary school at least I assume. Best Caribbean restaurant that I've been to so far between South Jersey and Philly.“

“Online menu says cheese steak $11. Plain steak $10. Bill came to $24 and change. How does that happen? Onions and hot peppers on both but the the plain hardly had any hot peppers. 11 + 10 plus tax should come to $22.26 not $24 something. 2 bucks is 2 bucks. Food is good though.“

“The new Deli Fresh Deli in the Penndel Shopping Center is the creation of local hero Johnny G, who has operated many kitchen eateries in the vicinity. He took over and remade a former Subway, bringing full delicatessen sensibility and local color to a commercial zone that really needed a bright coat of paint. Johnny was on hand to take my order yesterday and introduced himself. I got the short story version of his colorful restaurant history, and I realized that I had eaten in his former place on Brownsville Road a few times and enjoyed it tremendously. My expectations rose accordingly. The large front window sign proclaimed the roast beef, turkey and pork were all roasted on site. Good enough suggestion to order a large Roast Beef Hoagie (w provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, hot pepper hash and sweets) on a handsome sesame seeded long torpedo roll. Wrapped tight in white, and our conversation concluded (after sampling the tortellini salad), I drove home to open it up on the kitchen table. First glance at the stuffed sub and my salivaries exploded. It was visually compelling. First bite confirmed that it all worked together perfectly to tantalize my tastebuds. It was a tremendous chomp and chew. Excellent crustiness, followed by folded layers of pink roast beef, provolone and all the rest. This was a mouth party to beat the band. Texture and flavor combined to have me close my eyes and savor the moment. I managed to eat about a third of it, and rolled up the remainder for later enjoyment and family sharing. Deli Fresh is the real deal for Italian style deli delights. They even have a pickle barrel for those who love cukes soured in brine. Its time is now.“

“Very good New Jersey style pizza with excellent customer service and with a charming atmosphere. Competitive prices. The building must be 200 years old or older and reminds you over being in an old roadside tavern. Wood burning fire place in the dining area. Highly recommend!“

“I recently went here on a little dinner date nothing too special and the food, service, atmosphere, cleanliness was wonderful! The only thing that threw me off a little bit was our waitress wasn’t as friendly as others and seems too serious…. Now I am no one to really tell someone how they should be with other but that’s your job to make customers feel welcome stuff like that would make a person think and sometimes ruin a persons experience. Now luckily it didn’t ruin my mood but I left early because I felt unwelcomed I still tipped her a good amount because you never know what a person is going through and also you must kill with kindness .:)Also there is this dish they have that have fried shrimp and fried veggies and all I’m gonna say is if you’re not a fan of a greasy taste then don’t risk it lolKid-friendliness: High chairs and kids menu available with crayons and coloring pages in the menu. They also have games in the tablet but my partner mentioned they are not free they’ll automatically be added to the bill. Now I don’t know how true that is but just keep that in mind!“

“Excellent food way better than any other chick fill a. Horrible service. I ordered and paid for my salad it , it was not completed until I come to the parking lot. That system should be changed. After waited for about 5 minutes, system said the food will be delivered and from that point it took almost 5 minutes .There was only one server to deliver and distribute the food for the pickup and curbside. The kid who deliver my food had no idea how true system works. He said I should not have ordered until I am at the curbside parking spot.“

“Frey's Deli & Pizza sits in a small strip center on northbound Lincoln Highway (Rt.1) in Penndel, PA. It is an unassuming place with a few tables, a big front window, and prep area in the back for pizza and takeout. There isn't much in the way of provisions in the refrigerated display case, but what they do have is either made inhouse or Dietz & Watson. I asked about their tuna salad, and was advised it was prepared fresh that morning and a popular seller. Good enough for me, I went with a whole hoagie with lettuce, plus sweet/hot peppers. Opened it back at the office. It was heavy in the wrap paper, and substantial upon opening. Not only was the tuna as good as advertised, but the roll had a nice crust and texture that was a pleasure to bite through. Quality sandwich all the way. Tasty, and not the least bit fishy. Just enough mayo to hold everything together and blend perfectly with all the ingredients. One of the better deli sammies of recent memory. Prices were good, too. Only downside - there wasn't much to chose from in the drink department. Definitely would benefit from more selection for washdown. But, other than that, Frey's was a very pleasant surprise nosh.“

“I'm in there at least 4 times a week. Food is great. Their the only pizza place in the area that I will go to.Vegetarian options: They have a lot of options you can choose from that do not contain meat. For example - pasta dishes; different salads; plain pizza or other pizza that you can put mushrooms; green pepper; onions; olives; etc. If you don't see it on the menu ask and they will accommodate you.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. They have booster seats/chairs for the young ones and a bubble gum machine.“

“Well for one it’s chick fil a so it’s amazing but we love this location a lot due to the fact that around the holidays they have the cow dressed up and out greeting the kids. My son loves coming to see the cow and take pictures with him. The food is also great, service is nice and fast and everyone is always in a good mood.Kid-friendliness: They have the best kids meal varieties and the best toys in the meals.“

“You'd be hard-pressed to have a bad experience at any Chick-fil-A, and this location is no different. I work in the area and occasionally come here for lunch. It's a nice enough experience that I almost always choose to dine in. Everyone is always friendly, the store is clean and well-kept, and no matter what I order, it's always fresh and tasty, and the service is prompt.“

“I am shocked how disappointed I was with the turkey Diablo. There was I piece of cheese. Hardly any meat. And it was dry. I never wrote a review before for anything. But it was not good. Usally when I get that sandwich in jersey. It is excellent. With a lot of turkey. For 15 dollars it was not worth it. I was actually very surprised“

“The food was very good and the service wonderful. But, the $12 salad was undersized for the price as compared to other restaurants, along with a $10 dessert, and the $4.25 plain coffee is definitely overpriced. Entrees are a bit pricey but in line with other restaurants and the inflation imposed on everyone. Drinks are in line with the pricey cocktails at most places now. Our entrees were very good.“
