If you're looking for authentic Mexican food and you are near the County Courthouse, this is a great choice. Stopped here for lunch while on jury duty. Four of us got the chicken burrito which came with a small scoop of guac. Some chips and salsa verde also came to our table. Excellent prompt service!

OUTSTANDING! Can not wait to come back! I had just left the Elmwood Zoo and was a bit hungry. I decided to google "best food in Norristown" and TreJo was at the top!!! Haven't had any great Mexican in a while so, I decided to try it. quickly read a few reviews and went with the Chipoltle Chicken Quesadilla and Steak Nachos. Everything was ready by the time I drove from the zoo. It was hot and fresh! the guac was oh-so fresh and yummy. I'm not a big guac fan but, I could eat that with a spoon! The nachos had beans on them DO NOT CARE FOR BEANS! Well normally but, I didnt know they came on the nachos and when I saw them I decided to give it a try... really really good! I was told because they are made fresh. I am a bean lover now! As well as guac I just wasn't enjoying well-prepared beans and guac apparently. I can not wait to bring my friends and family back. The sauces and sides were also very very fresh. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. The staff was polite, friendly, and kind. Prices VERY fair. So happy I found this gem! Will be a repeat customer as I am a zoo member but, I will also happily travel from South Philly too!

Stopped in randomly with a hankering for some cucina auténtico, but toting a picky 7yr old along can make that a little tricky. I loved how the quesadillas were well-made and substantial but not too spicy, my son loved them. I ordered the fajitas texanas y son muyyyyyy rrrricas! Awesome! They were delicious. Highly recommended .

Very tasty - a little pricey - I used to go there several times a week then yesterday I went and ordered taquitos - 4 taquitos for 9.99 - when they arrived it was a huge amount of salad - I asked for a side of guacamole- sure - but when I got the bill it was 24$$ ! Yikes - the 1/2 cup ( if that!) of guacamole costs more than the main entree!!! I paid and left a good tip for the waitress - but I'm not going back - I was a good customer 2-4 times a week - never going back! I don't like getting BONED while eating my lunch !!! I hope the price gouge was worth it to the owner - plus I've got a very big mouth at a nearby justice center just across the street - good food five stars - business practices ...??? TREJO SUCKS !!! I can only let my opinion be known - watch your wallets this restaurant owner wants every stinking peso you've got on ya!!!

I've ordered from them a few times during the COVID pandemic. I've never been to to the actual restaurant, so I can't speak as to parking or seating. But the food is pretty good. They offer fast Mexican dishes that are tasty and, more importantly, pretty cheap. They also make pretty good hamburgers. I haven't had a bad delivery from them yet, either. All in all, I'm pretty satisfied.

I have been eating breakfast and lunch several times a week at Trejo for over fifteen years. The food is cooked tomorrow with fresh ingredients and very tasty. Lucy and Jaime are run a nice restaurants frequented by many of the local courthouse employees.

Good food and a bit pricier than the direct regional options. I have been twice and they've gotten my order wrong once. It's a good stop but I think both my visits have been lengthy so allot a proper amount

I had several HORRIBLE experiences here, my last was on 2/08/19. The woman who runs the place is noticeably prejudice to BLACK PEOPLE. I stopped going here in 2015 because they would try to overcharge me in hopes that I wouldn't notice and would be very rude and irate when I politely pointed it out. I decided to give them another chance recently. The woman at the front desk has been very prejudice to me. When she takes my credit card she checks in her phone to make sure the payment went through despite the transaction clearing(I don't see her do this to anyone else), she made comments in front of other customers that I "need a new card". The last straw is when I won a free dinner for going there consecutively 5x. They give you a card and they initial each time you go so that you get a free dinner after 5 visits. I presented my card after going 5x and she questioned the staff infront of me to confirm that it was valid (as if I would forge signatures and it was initialed by other owner and staff). Its a card that they created but this was my 2nd time being treated like some sort of criminal trying to cheat them out of money. Also she discouraged another employee from giving me another card so I could participate in the future. At the time I tried to ignore this and then she started a argument with me as to what was free and what was not on a free dinner that I won, over a meal worth $10. Given the last year of going here and observing how they treat Black people I've come to the conclusion that they are prejudice. I am a Large Black Man and I was treated like a criminal each time and I tried so hard to brush it off. I do not see them harassing non Black people the way they have me and do not feel comfortable going here ever again. Please also consider that I ALWAYS tip and said please and thank you. I was never rude. I recommend other Mexican restaurants in Norristown that are much nicer and more FAIR. This experience made me feel very upset and I tried to ignore the prejudice but its blatant. Please be a ally and eat elsewhere. I was born and raised in Norristown and love supporting small businesses, I have a good relationship with many restaurant owners. Never have I been treated so horribly.
